Gamblers or Oilers

The Gamblers logo is pretty bad. It's the most awkward G I've ever seen - if you didn't know it was supposed to be a G (I'm assuming it is) you'd be hard pressed to figure it out. Besides the G, it's a shape of Texas with a star. Not very creative. Maybe as a shoulder patch or tertiary logo as part of a larger package, but between the two presented, the oil derrick is the stronger logo hands down;

Personally I think the Gamblers had the better logo but the Oilers had the better name

I definitely prefer the Oilers logo, and their color scheme needs to be brought back to the NFL. I think the Texans have a great logo, but theIr color scheme is rather bland.

Oilers hands down, but I always thought the color combination of the light (or columbia) blue and red were a little cheesy. The Gamblers logo was bland but you cant go wrong with the black and red colors.

When the Texans name surfaced I thought it was a cheap shot to the Cowboys, because that's what they were called originally, but the when the bull logo was unveiled, it totally fits the name. Love the navy blue but IMHO the red could be a shade lighter,

The original Dallas Texans played one season in the NFL, 1952, then folded. The AFL's Dallas Texans and the NFL's Dallas Cowboys both began play in 1960. The AFL Texans moved to Kansas City in 1963 and became the Chiefs.
