How are the Cards and Giants any more boring than other teams?

You've obviously ignored the whole legion of "St. Louis Cardinal Church of Latter Day Saints" fans we've had to put up with, along with the whole mantra of having to listen to the "Cardinal Way."

As for the Giants, the two lowest-rated World Series of all time involved San Francisco. Just tedious, forgettable baseball they play.

And despite that, you'd love it if your team had those TWO "tedious, forgettable" World Series trophies.

Really, just go away.

At what does that have to do with anything. They still won.

L.A. Dodgers mantra: We lose in the NLCS all the time and WE LOVE IT!

Well, it's actually 3 losses in the last 6 years...

It's a Los Angeles tradition (Angels and Dodgers).

NL Central

Cardinals (150-12) The Cardinals will be good again blahblahblah blah. There will be an argument on the boards involving a player from another team disrespecting the game and the St. Louis Cardinals. This WILL happen and it will be annoying.

Pirates (95-67) Baseball in Pittsburgh continues the revival. This is a good thing for baseball. This is a good thing for baseball. This is a good thing for baseball. This is a good thing for baseball.

Reds (84-78) They continue to have one of the best pitching staffs in the NL but the offense won't score runs. Reds will set the record for most 1-0 games in a major league season.

Brewers (70-92) Ryan Braun will have the least productive season of his career. No clues as to why.

Cubs (62-100) I think this is the summer I finally get to Wrigley Field. Better do it now before the charm has been completely ruined by video screens and modern amenities. Or has that already happened?

Prediction: the Blue Jays will finish at or above .500 - I don't think a seven-win improvement is at all unreasonable, especially given how the team's two worst full-time players (Johnson and Arencibia) are gone. Last year, pretty much everything that could've gone wrong did. That has to let up this year; I don't think we can do much worse.

The only prediction that matters.

The magical support of the Cardinal Nation magically transforms Peter Bourjos from a oft-injured, sub-par hitting guy with a little speed to the second coming of Willie Mays.

A guaranteed prediction: McCarthy will piss and moan about how bad the Reds are and create, in his own mind, something that Cardinals fans here do to anger him.

Anybody wanna put some money on it? ;)

Because antagonistic posts like this are all in my mind.

You're a treasure to the boards. Never stop posting.

Antagonizing, overreacting, self pity, taking everything as a personal attack, and a general inability to interact with people is pretty much all he brings to the table. If you're just realizing that now then I'm not sure where you've been the past few years.

Yeah and you're a peach. It's called joking, genius. Besides look back over any MLB thread. You all freaked out on us about the Cardinals without us even posting anything. But go ahead and create these little fantasies in your mind that allow you to escape the reality that you're a bitter little man who feels he has to try and be some dominating, self-righteous and holier-than-thou personality on an internet forum because no one probably respects him in real life. It works for ya. ;)

At least I've never been suspended from an internet message board because I can't play well with others.

I will say the Rays will make the postseason again and win the AL East. B)

And 11,276 fans will be in attendance at the trop for the clinching game.
