A Guide to American Football

Thought you guys might like this piece I made recently.

Its a slightly tongue in cheek guide to American Football for people with no experience of the game.

In the UK, with the International Series game, one of the big terrestrial channels has bought the rights to the NFL, so there is a bit more interest over here recently.

I thought this might qualify as sports related if not design.

NB. it seems the Seahawks will be wearing blue pants away for the Super Bowl which I totally fluked! It looked nicer than having a team play all in white.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

Have just realised that the 'Safety' at 1:45, probably isn't as it comes off a defenders head.

Oh well.

QB fumbled and lost possession before it hit defender's helmet. Once ball bounces out back of end zone, defense scores a safety.

(I'm a referee, I'm qualified to answer questions about regulatory minutia. Or is it minutiae?)

I've seen this pop up on twitter a few times too. Seems to be getting the attention it deserves but mostly from people already involved in the sport here in the UK..

You should try and get a shout out for it on the Super Bowl pre-game show or something. I know a lot of non-football fans in the UK stick around for that bit before getting bored by the actual game.
