No but Bowyer almost made it happen. Kes just had the car the whole night through. He couldn't be caught. Harvick managed a couple of times, Gordon almost did but it never happened. The SHR cars looked really good tonight.

Results from Richmond:

1. Keselowski

2. Gordon

3. Bowyer

4. McMurray

5. Harvick

6. Logano

7. Kurt Busch

8. Johnson

9. Newman

10. Almirola

Newman & Biffle got in the chase by points, Kes is your top seed. You could tell it was hot because after the race, Jimmie was taken to a care unit, more than likely dehydration to which I could see happening, it was God awful out on the track tonight. Now the chase begins at Chicagoland.

Imagine if these 4 fight for the Championship in Homestead; Allmendinger, Almirola, Newman and Hamlin. Everyone would flip their lids because there's no Junior, no Jimmie, no Jeff, no Brad, etc.

Just two guys who got their first wins this season, one who got in via points, and one with only one win.

BREAKING NEWS: Marcos Ambrose will NOT return to Richard Petty Motorsports in 2015 and is heading back home to Australia. This means that the #9 car is available... #RaganToPetty?

Results From Chicago:

1. Keselowski

2. Gordon

3. Larson

4. Logano

5. Harvick

6. Hamlin

7. Kyle Busch

8. Kurt Busch

9. McMurray

10. Kenseth

The last final laps of this race showed some fantastic racing between the top 5. Larson drove his like there was no tomorrow. Gordon & Harvick had good cars, but Kes came out of nowhere. Great racing all around. I think we're going to have a good chase. Next stop New Hampshire.

Funny that I say this and all but Hamlin are on the fast track to be eliminated after the race in Dover.

Stanley/DeWalt sure does know how to make some b'ass looking cars:

Kenseth's 20 DeWalt Toyota:

Edwards's 19 Stanley Toyota:

I am nearly drooling over that 20 car. Not a fan of Kenseth, but sweet mother of mayonnaise do these cars look good.

However, this news means that Richard Petty now has an empty seat and a blank car. Stanley/DeWalt has been rumored to move over to Gibbs for about the past week or two (they can't seem to keep any secrets, can they?).

Edwards' number font is a little weird, was expecting to be a little closer to the style of Kenseth's #20, but it seems like the number font is emulating Kyle Busch's number font...

Fun little fact about Matt's font: it is the same - if not identical - to Jeff Gordon's which is very similar to Wisconsin's Badger Bold font (see Conrad's font packages). However, JJ's 8 in the 48 isn't quite the same

Now if anyone would've said that a 16 year old would win a truck race & we would've have a great last laps in Kentucky in Nationwide. I would've laughed it off. What a finish in Kentucky & Cole Custer knows how to drive. I had a feeling it was a matter of time for that kid.

Bumping for Results from the Destruction Derby that is New Hampshire

1. Logano

2. Larson

3. Harvick

4. McMurray

5. Johnson

6. Almirola

7. Keselowski

8. Kyle Busch

9. Earnhardt Jr.

10. Vickers

It was a rough one, especially for any of the chase contenders. 15 cautions. Penske will go on to the next round. Dover is up next. Hamlin, Biffle, Kurt Busch & Almirola are on the bubble...

How did AJ manage to get out of the bubble? That'll be a huge victory if AJ can get past the first elimination round. Dover is a track AJ has had some good finishes at (out of the first three Chase races Dover is AJ's strongest track in terms of average finish).
