chibimatty
Maybe no badge on the Celtics helmet, but possibly the double stripe instead?
LoyolaProp1
Maybe no badge on the Celtics helmet, but possibly the double stripe instead?I agree. Maybe just a number, but for some Reason I picture the Celtics with no badge. As simple as possible.
chibimatty
Unless the Celtics leprechaun is used and the whole set is made to look old-skool college style? That's a possible alternate idea.
TheFuture
Good job on all of these by the way.For the Celtics, I think they'd be better off with a white helmet. I don't think a team that was founded in the 40s and maintained its classic look would have gone with a green helmet at any point in its history. White just seems more classic and old school. JPDesign
Here's an updated Celtics with a clean white helmet. I took the Shamrock and added it to the back of the collar, similar to where it is on the bball uniforms:
FALCON6
Amazing. The Clippers are great, I like the stripes on the helmet and sleeve, but try making the sides less busy, maybe just one blue stripe. I also like the choice of logo for LA. The Clippers alternate is perfect. The Celtics stripe and trim show the simplicity of the uniform and your great taste. I can't decide which is better, white helmets, or green.
thaipod
I love the clean white with the green stripe. Simple and classic. The green with the white shamrock doesn't do it for me. Maybe try the leprechaun roundel on it. I'd also be curious to see how the roundel looks on the white helmet, although, I have a feeling the clean white will be better. Another interesting idea would be simply the wordmark "CELTICS" on the helmet, a la the old school Cincinatti Bengals helmet.
Djruggs
There still needs to be collar stripes.
DCarp1231
Maybe take the small number on the helmet, move it to the side of the helmet and enlarge it?
Sean F&F
Celtics looks great.I'd try this logo just to see how it looks on the helmetThis whole series is great. Really nice concepts and adaptations from NBA to football. https://fandfsports.wordpress.com/Hockey Uniform Templates (Gimp/Photoshop) http://seanff.deviantart.com/gallery/52790653/Devious-Folder
chibimatty
Lovin the Celtics!Speaking of old-skool,A leprechaun would remind of this one:While a big number on the helmet would also have the old-skool feel:
kbaker19
Not feeling the plain white helmet for Boston. I like the ideas posted above on the helmet with a number or the roundel logo on the helmet. Thanks Dolphins91 for the jersey avatars.
JPDesign
Thanks for all the feedback, guys. I tried the full primary roundel, but it felt too busy. I also shied away from that because they don't use that mark on their uniforms. Then I tried the shamrock with the circle and "Celtics" around it, but it felt redundant with the jersey wordmark and I didn't want to use that. I think the numbers work well, I wasn't too fond of the blank white shell.Next up is the Knicks. I think these turned out really sharp. Their color scheme is great and the striping translated well here. The Orange/Orange/Blue would make a great alt set. I think the Redskins could take a few notes from these (minus the thin stripe, of course).
chibimatty
Knicks are classic! The numbers on the Celtics one really came up well. On your Celtics third, did you try any black on the helmet when you were designing?
FALCON6
The orange stripes are great! Put blue pants on the away though.
thaipod
The #s on the Celtics helmet are great.Kinicks look great the way they are! Reminds me of Boise St.
GatorHunter
I'm just joining this topic and want to say you have done a great job on these. I won't comment on all the unis, just the last one. Did you try a white helmet with a blue and orange stripe for the home and away and the blue helmet for the alt on the Knicks?.
LoyolaProp1
That Celtics set is simply awesome. Knicks I'm not a fan of, but I think its just the nature of the logo/colors, not your design elements.
JPDesign
Next up is the Brooklyn Nets. Pretty minimalistic basketball set = pretty minimalistic football set. I did make sure to include the chevron on the striping which is a nice touch. And of course their, um, questionable alternates.
thaipod
On their alternates, I'd use just NETS in grey without the chevron. Otherwise, this all looks fine.Part of me wants to see how the previous New Jersey Nets would look as a football uni.
