Is this going to be allowed or will these get banned just like Baylor's "Sic Em" jerseys in basketball?

Well, they wore them tonight.

That must be a basketball-only rule. Mississippi State has a couple of football unis with "hail state" on them, too.

I think it was an NCAA Tournament-only rule. Can't wear nicknames for tournament games. If Baylor had brought them out against WV or ISU in February, it would have been OK.

If MSU wears these in the NCAA Tournament, then I guess that means it was a basketball-only rule.

Go Astros!

Go Texans!

Go Rockets!

Go Javelinas!

these Mississippi St Unis look like a t shirt you'd buy at a gas station in Starkville (and I like Starkville, except that I couldn't buy cold beer in the city limits.) I guess all the adidas schools will be wearing a version of these? Can't wait to see the Rock Chalk KU ones

Luckily, KU was not equipped with these TATC ripoff uniforms. They wore their armpit stain uniform today. I would keep a look out for Louisville as they are one of the few highly ranked adidas schools in baseball.

I believe you guys are confusing nicknames with saying, virtually every team has nicknames like Seminoles, gators ect. Hail state, and sick me bears is a saying

Wonderbread is right. You guys are mixing up two things that are totally different from each other. If MSU wanted to have "Hail State" basketball on their jerseys, it'd probably be allowed.

I thought that adidas was leaving Indiana alone until I saw some sort of version of a "Sox" jerseys that doesn't even looks similar. But on the whole adidas has done things right with IU(pullovers and 1940's throwback) but it still makes me nervous after seeing the Miss State atrocities.

Adidas has crossed the line.

There was also a vine that showed the back of an anthracite jersey that I can only presume has the same design on the front.

With the pinstripe, cream, and 80's uniforms, Mississippi State has some of the best uniforms in College Baseball. Why do they continue to let Adidias give them this crap?

Hail State. That sounds like a small, private east coast college.

That receives a lot of golf-sized hail.

An SEC reporter-lady just said that "As Oregon is to Nike, Mississippi State is to Adidas. Expect to see another new jersey this week."

We're wearing our tradional, 80's style unis tonight, thankfully. At least we can look good for one game in the tourney.

Looking like every other Adidas school is looking good?

Not the White Sox or Astros 80's unis, Mississippi State's 80's unis-

Wasn't it Mississippi State that wasn't allowed to wear the tequila sunrise jerseys last year because there wasn't an SEC logo on them or something?

Yes. Though it is believed that the players (especially Wes Rea) hated the jerseys and did not want to wear them, so they used that as an excuse.

As expected, here are the dark gray ones for tonight-

I actually like these better than the white ones.

WHY?! Ugh...Did you happen to see the Vine MSU Baseball posted on twitter? It was of the players' reactions. "They were pumped" the caption said. They were anything but pumped...

"I believe in Auburn and love it!"

I used nickname instead of catchphrase. Seminole/Gator/etc would be mascot.

And I don't see how Hail State is permissible if Sic Em Bears isn't. It's the same thing.

Go Astros!

I was in the office at my summer job this week (I work for a local collegiate summer ball team) and the president of the new team in the league stopped by. The team's name is the Pippins (a variety of green apple) and due to the high Hispanic population in that team's region, he said that he created a White Sox-style jersey with the giant stripe that has "Manzanas" (Spanish for apples) on the front. I really had to restrain myself from lashing out at hearing about yet another Sox ripoff.

From San Berdoo to Kalamazoo.
