At least the Padres, Brewers and the Giants in baseball do it right. well, from what i've read, team names are considered proper nouns so spanish speaking people actually do say los bullsIt's weird seeing "Los Bulls" taking on "Los Angeles." There's no need to translate it because proper nouns remain the same. I'm positive the Spanish broadcast of Miami games refers to the team as "Heat," not "Calor." Don't know why there isn't consistency, though. The Warriors and Rockets translated it for Chinese New Year (maybe they don't actually say "Warriors" in China, I don't know). Well, I stopped caring and nearly fell asleep almost immediately upon sight of it, so I'd say it conveys the story very effectively.
