hettinger_rl
Now with more experience under my belt I've been taking second looks at my old concepts. Today I started re-thinking my Cape Buffalo Logo. Let me know what you think, here are the sketches of the new direction:

Nijobe
Personally, i'm a much bigger fan of the first one. The profile of the second sketch is just a bit odd-looking.
ingmar66
The first one is an instant winner for any team named Bulls, Steers or Brahmas. But Buffalo?

Varsity Blue
Both are good, but I really like the first one best.
hettinger_rl
Here are the first vectors. Obviously clearer, I also added in eyes and played with line weights. I'm seeing the first one as more of a pride look and the second as more aggressive. What is it about each? Like/dislike?
hettinger_rl
A couple name ideas; Chargers, Buffaloes, Dagga Boys, Rampage. Any others you can think of?

hettinger_rl
Hey all, I'm just looking for a little feedback on these. If it's good; then why. If it's bad; then why.
hettinger_rl
Is the Cape Buffalo just too hard to get behind as a mascot?
Nijobe
I really like the first one. I would love to see what you can do with some colors!
1clkgtramg
It may be too realistic I guess. It looks great but for a logo, the lines are usually a consistent weight. Some lines in the forehead could be removed and replaced with a darker shade of brown. It all comes out with the colouring to be honest. It's a unique mascot for sure so it will most likely work, you just need colours, US and World License Plate Redesign - Fixing the Elite Ice Hockey League - NHL to Soccer Crossover - European Hockey League Twitter
