Florio is only slightly more reliable than Incarcerated Bob.Sapp seems to be hinting at some major changes on Twitter.I think the quote say "may" to cover his ass. I posted the quote early on in the thread. If I like the changes I hope sapp is right. Grew up watching in the 80s so if we put everyone back in their mid 80s unis w/ updated versions similar to their logo that would be my heaven. 80s Lions w/ the current lion logo, that would be great.One other possibility that's been touched upon in this thread before is that what we may see Thursday is a teaser for new uniforms coming in April. Didn't the Panthers unveil their updated logo before April (even though the uniforms stayed otherwise untouched)? Claystation360 Posted February 19, 2014 Share Posted February 19, 2014 Well I've always had an Affection for the Buccaneers logos and Color Scheme, they absolutely did one of the best modernization in uniform and logo my opinion back in 97 and by simply flipping orange for red as primary colors and topping it off with a fancy unique and unused color in pewter. And here we are in 2014 and it seems to be happening again, this one concerns me because of the more recent modernizations and updates. My hopes and thoughts are gloss White helmet with a fiery Orange and red stripe & chromed pewter face mask with a orangish red tint. Essentially the same uniform possibly a different number font but the biggest change I see is actually updating the orange the uniform to a Creamsicle color so it will stick out more and mild changing the striping of the pants. The Skull and Sabers is what got me to be a Bucs fan in the first place (I was seven so a nice logo goes a long way) and I absolutely hate the Creamsicles. Old School Fool Posted February 19, 2014 Share Posted February 19, 2014 The Buccaneers twitter account said it was going to be an "updated logo" so I'm expecting nothing more than a modified logo on a white helmet, maybe make Bucco Bruce an official alternate logo and the return of Orange as the main color. Their home uniforms with pewter/red/pewter is one of my favorites, but they've been stupidly going with the white pants too often. frosty06306 Posted February 19, 2014 Share Posted February 19, 2014 A few thoughts:In regards to the EBAY listing, the other decals the lister is selling aren't helmet decals so I believe this to not be the real thing. Now lets say I'm wrong, the smaller logo could be used at the base of the back of the helmet on a helmet stripe. Regardless the two don't look like they would go together on the same helmet.There is almost no way this willl better their look, it's probably Top 5 in the NFL. To the guy who hates the white pants, I love the red jersey on white pants but agree they look bad with the white jersey.Let's also keep in mind this is Warren Sapp using uniform terminology, and him simply saying something is :chrome: could be not necessarily correcy.Prediction: Pewter helmet remains, black chrome facemask, new primary logo, helmet stripe.In any case: RIP fantastic identity Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He said you'd start to sweat immediately, and the pants got darker when they were wet. Blackjack76 Posted February 19, 2014 Share Posted February 19, 2014 First of all, authentic helmet decals are 20 mil, not 10 mil as in the eBay description, so I'm calling BS on that being real.Secondly, I have a sneaking feeling this is a color update on the attack flag design, but I'm with the majority here: the real change is to a white helmet. My guess would be a pearlescent white paint scheme.Does anyone know if the NFL rule limiting teams to one helmet also includes only using one facemask?
