Lions Logo

Recommended Posts

Drew this lion logo up yesterday. I colored it for Detroit but it could work for other teams as well. What are your thoughts on the logo, possible teams, or color combos?

While it's a great logo, it doesn't fit with the Detroit at all. It'd be a great logo for another team, but not the Lions. Try some different color combinations and post them here

Here is an edit of the Detroit version and a Sacramento Kings color combo, I thought the eye gave it an older school feel. Both are compressed a bit also.

You're off to a good start h.

The face is great. The eye's off a bit. (eyes are super-tough to get right).

That hair needs to be styled.

It needs some form... perhaps simplified into a graphic shape.

Congratulations! It looks awesome. But I think it's too detailed to become an NFL logo. It's too realistic, like a really great drawing. But I think it would fail to become a primary or even secondary logo for any NFL team – because of the aforementioned reasons. Apart from that, I wish I was just one-tenth as talented as you are in terms of drawing. Kudos!

Updated version is much better. It looked too humanoid before, kind of like the lion from The Wizard of Oz.

So I was bored in class and wanted to draw a lions logo, just so happened this was on the first page! Hope you like!

Hey! Looks good, I hope it was easy to draw from looking. I feel that if a logo is or seems easy for fans to draw they can connect with it better. Just make sure you're paying attention in class too! (I'm a teacher).
