Tigers6884
records on may 7th don't really indicate much...I know, but they've been one of the best teams in baseball for the last couple of years. They just need the bullpen to get their stuff together. No longer having Prince Fielder also helps.
NJTank
Soeaking of records, I dont recall a baseball season with this much parity through the first six weeks www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

cmm
The hitting streak is over, Darvish is perfect thru 6, and the Mets and Phillies have left 25 guys on base so far in a 2-1 game with two innings to play.EDIT: perfect game gone thanks to some miscommunication on a popup to right. Oh well.DOUBLE EDIT: They scored it an error, which I don't think is allowed.TRIPLE EDIT: Big Papi breaks up the no-hitter for real this time with two outs in the 9th. ninersdd
The Giants are guaranteed a winning record on this road trip and are 6-2 against LA this year. It would be gravy if they can procure a win against Grienke or Kershaw this weekend. BEAR DOWN ARIZONA!2013/14 Tanks Picks Champion
FiddySicks
Puig is definitely a douche, but even I'm getting tired of mentioning it at this point. It pretty much just is what it is at this point. All that really matters in these match ups is the Giants record vs the Dodgers, and so far it's pretty good. PhantomDreamer
If Puig gets another at bat I hope MadBum plugs him right in the ribs. Wouldn't that have been great. One of baseball's few potential stars, a guy who could transcend the game, being disciplined by a guy that outside of Giants fans, few people have heard of. Emotion apparently isn't allowed in baseball. Personalities need to be promoted. Robots don't sell.

HedleyLamarr
Having watched that highlight, it looked like Bumgardner said something to Puig (not to mention he was halfway between the mound and the third-base line as Puig was circling the bases). And I don't get what's so wrong about "showing off" if you just did something good. Sure beats some guy running with his head down and a ho-hum attitude after hitting a homerun. All of these unwritten rules/codes of baseball (and any sport, really) are dumb. Soarindude
I'm kinda on the fence with Puig. I like his showboat attitude and believe he can "transcend" the game, especially among young people. However, being late to games, being linked to Mexican drug cartels, and not putting an effort when hitting a fly ball is the wrong Attitude. Puig can transcend the sport, but I don't think he knows how too/or wants too.

FiddySicks
He's one of the best picherd in the game right now and already has two World Series rings. He was also an All Star last season.
