DCarp1231
Well then I guess you have something against obese peopleyou don´t think team doctors should tell a team member to lose weight ? Obviously they do but ultimately it's up to the players themselves to lose it.
Sport
I don't even know how this is possible. The Reds have lost ten consecutive games in Cleveland. The home team has won the last eleven games in the Ohio Cup**
dbadefense1990
Oh Mets. You find a new way to make your own professional baseball club the butt-of in Major League Baseball. http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2014/8/5/5972831/the-mets-gave-away-toy-trucks-with-the-phillies-logo

Sport
The Reds decided to stop being the FReds for one game last night and ended their drought in Cleveland. Thank god that's over.

Sport
The players don't seem to give a $hit about it. Most fans of either team don't seem to care much either. The Indians have controlled it since 2011 and I've never heard a Reds player talk about returning it to Cincinnati. When the Reds did win it the players didn't celebrate or lift it or anything. I think the idea was to generate a college football-esque rivalry trophy, but I don't think it's inspired the same sort of passion. Probably because it has Ohio Lottery logos all over it. The Sox and Cubs have a rivalry trophy. The fact that BP purchased sponsorship a few months before the huge oil spill didn't help things. No players or fans care about the trophy. Other than Sox fans facetiously saying "We brought the cup back home!" after winning the season series again, nobody gives it a second of thought. As I've surely said before, I like the idea of interleague trophies, but you have to be really serious about not taking them seriously. It has to be obviously light-hearted, like an oversized novelty hat. That someone is taking the BP Crosstown Cup at face value irreparably ruins the whole thing. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
BigBubba
Jesus Jays, dropping three of four against the Houston-freaking-Astros? Can we please just get Lind/Lawrie/Edwin back; I'm sick of fielding a lineup full of fringe players while we're fighting for a playoff spot. Nobody cares about your humungous-big signature.
