Alright, so I've been working on this for the past couple of days. Suggestions and comments are welcome. I'm not gonna give y'all any design fluff, just see:

I almost want to expect a Scorpion with the new design

I would personally take the new bird and stick him in the old circle/moon and see how that looks.

I'm just not a fan of the edges on the new one, just my opinion...

I personally think the one on the right is a complete downgrade.

Agreed, left seems so crisp compared to the one on the right, which to me looks more like a facehuger from Alien than a bird.

Alright, i tried to fix the problems with the circle:

Definitely like it more than the prior angled version. Still feel like it is a lateral move, is mostly a pick'em now between the two on which wing design you like more.

In the 1st logo you almost have a capital J going in the negative space between bird and circle. Maybe it would look cool if you can find a way to make that more visible. I love logos with good use of negative space.
