I decided it would be best to just keep the devils head for the main jerseys while going back to the full logo on the alternate. I'm really not liking how it turned out. I tried to salvage the Buffalo Alternate jersey but in the end, it looked like an AHL jersey. That aside, I was thinking of how I was going to make a shoulder patch for them since NJ Devils can't even think of one themselves. So I thought, I'll make a C with devil horns and a arrow-tail much like their NHL owners have..... and I swear.... no one say it looks like a G! And yes, the Winter Classic jersey for this team is pretty much what you think it will be... but it will have to wait till the very end. That is option one.There is another option and that is to make Fife Flyers a pro team in the Elite Ice Hockey League - as it is in real life and are one of the oldest teams out there - and thus, I must make 2 more farm teams. I am thinking that the farm teams for Glasgow Gladiators (Braehead Clan) would be the Paisley Blackhawks. Fife Flyers farm team can be in Coatbridge Highlanders. Edinburgh Capitals farm team can be in Inverness Lightning. Which one sounds more plausible? For the Fife Flyers I wanted to ditch the shoulder patch-esque style logo for a more retro look. I went with the Rangers style diagonal script. I also tried my best to avoid looking like the Buffalo Sabers since Fife will have no NHL affiliate due to its history dating farther back than many current NHL teams do.For the Edinburgh Capitals, I wanted to use Sparky Chewbarky's concept he made for the Halifax Highlanders. It fit the Capitals so perfectly that the whole time I was in Edinburgh - at the Capitals arena - I couldnt stop thnking how much better they would be if they used his concept. It kinda fueled my interest in starting this threat so here it is. Everything is pretty much the same as his, just a different font, sans-Maple Leaf and I added the Royal Stewart tartan stripe down the side of the pants. The Sheffield Steelers had a pretty solid log, they just needed to remove the script - as you can tell, I hate script on the primary logo. So that's basically what I did. I also made a Vintage inspired Alternate jersey. I found a few of these old triangle shaped logos around Google Images. I'm not even sure if its real, but I had to redraw it off of some girls shirt - not that I'm complaining haha. I'm a little slow as of late, I still cant find a good concept for London Knights/Monarchs/Royals/Something. I have a Union Jack striping pattern that even thought I don't particularly like it, I wanted something a little out there for London. I may completely scrap it in favour of Glasgow not being Red, Yellow and Blue and London being Purple thus making them owned by LA Kings... again...So I will post up the Newcastle Vipers. This one was salvageable as well. The logo didn't need the script at all, so I changed the colours a bit, fixed the mouth and the stupid left-looking eyes and cleaned it up in general. I know the jerseys are boring, but I made the jersey first and the colours matched so I used it. They are partly owned by the Pittsburgh Penguins because of the colour similarities. I also used the Penguins/Senators Template for the Alternate jersey. I didnt make a shoulder patch because I really can't think of anything original. The dang Dodge Viper logo is all that comes to mind every time.... 1clkgtramg Posted March 3, 2014 Author Share Posted March 3, 2014 One more for tonight, I just finished this one because I wanted to use the Colt I made for _nxche and his OHL rebranding.I was debating what I should do for the Braehead Clan. Braehead isn't even a neighbourhood in the Glasgow area, its simply the Mall that the arena is situated in. I wanted to use Glasgow Gladiators but I wouldn't be able to handle making a log of that detail so I scrapped everything and made the Glasgow Colts. I went with the same Barrie Colts colours but I went with a unique template this time just to mix things up. That leaves us with 4 teams left; London ____, Nottingham Panthers, Dublin Shamrocks, and Coventry Blaze.I may add 2 more teams; they would be 2 of these options. Portsmouth, Liverpool, Plymouth, Bracknell or Guildford. I want to include Guildford Flames because they have been around for a while, so that's a definite expansion, Bracknell has stron fan support and history as well. They might not be big enough for the Elite league, but the others I'm not to sure about yet.Let me know if anyone cares. I don't know if I'm just too tired, but this colour scheme bugs me. Those shades of blue are just horrible. I may change it later.Anyway, here is Coventry Blaze. And yes, they are owned by the Calgary Flames. I wanted to stay far away from the sterrotypical Flames colours, which was why I tried to make Blue the Primary. I ended up going with red because I only have 2 other Red teams although they are very different. So here is the first Red, White and... Blue.. I think I am finished with the Nottingham Panthers, I'm not quite sure..I have had this Dublin Shamrocks one for a while now, I think it's alright, I wanted to do more with the shamrock, but it's a shamrock, there isnt much you can do with it and I do like simplicity. I wanted to try something less boring for the jerseys so I made a modified Stadium Series template. I was worried about Coventry, and still am; also Edinburgh is basically Sparky's work so kudos to him for a great concept! About the Dublin stripe, I see what you mean and I would usually agree. That being said, I wanted to make something a little different than the rest. Either I would completely scrap the bottom striping on the Home because it looks great on the Away, or... yea, I'll see what it looks like, but it flows the same as the Stadium Series style arm striping.
