According to one of the guys on Reddit, they are using "Energetic Orange" from Sherwin-Williams to paint some conference rooms. While this may not be the actual shade used, it should give an idea of the general direction the Browns' front office is leaning.

I think it's an attempt to troll Browns fans, especially with the hat logo on the shoulder (though some one did say it could be meant to represent Paul Brown's iconic hat.)

That's totally something Nike would do, but the swoosh wouldn't go there on the helmet and it just looks like someone printed a concept on a home inkjet printer and took a cell phone picture of it.

That looks pretty legit to be honest and I kinda like it. I just hope that if this is the set they'll end up with they don't go monochrome orange too often (could we call it monorange?)

The "hat" is pretty dumb. It's never been a symbol used by the team or something people associate with Paul Brown. Orange facemask doesn't work as well as gray, the tapered stripe is outdated and the stripes should be brown-white-brown. Not to mention the font looks familiar from somewhere.

Look at the way the shoulder stripes don't even extend to the back of the jersey on the template. Then you've got the choppy lines on the pants. And the random blue piece of the facemask? Please.

That mono orange look is downright hideous. I fully expect the Browns to roll out something equally disappointing and awful.

That's a template that I released here on the boards last year so it's definitely not real. Just for future reference any "leaks" that you see won't be legitimate unless they are on the below template, or are photoshopped player images. I've yet to see anyone accurately replicate the front and back view of the helmet template Nike uses so that will be the biggest indicator of legitimacy.

Today is most likely the final time we'll see the Browns in their current uni's. It's most likely a guarantee as well with how the season collapsed the new set won't be any better...

The Browns have had essentially the same look since they were formed in the 40s. It truly might be the end of an era. I would never do more than a tweak or two to that uniform. Some things need to be preserved. But hey, why keep that primitive, old, historic house where George Washington once lived when you can tear it down and build a shiny, new Wal-Mart?
