Take BMS for example, all you did was convert their look into your template.While it may seem like that for BMS, their look is simple and classic, so I converted it to what Nike would use for a uni like this. Ochocinco had a modern jersey, and some of the jerseys had absolutely no orange whatsoever. I don't think you should stick with the uniforms they had in the show, but it is your concept.
