Squall Hammer, April 28, 2014 in Sports Logos
The Red Sox' pullover jersey and beltless pants were, in hindsight, totally wrong for that team. (Though the hat was nice, and complemented the uniform much better than the traditional blue cap that they first used when they brought in the pullovers.)
Thinking of that uni now reminds me of Rice, Lynn, Yaz, Fisk, the Spaceman, and Tiant; but mainly of two moments:
Broncos white roads
The Broncos and John Elway's helicopter dive.

Robin Yount's 3,000th hit
The very reason any change to the logo/uniform design has been met with failure.
I associate both beautiful (and long gone) uniforms with the 1991 SC Finals
what a magical playoff run for the North Stars that year.
These USA jerseys will always remind me of Donovan's stoppage time goal at the World Cup

I agree with this one, though I also associate the Titans' navy home uniforms with the Music City Miracle, as well as with Super Bowl XXXIV. At the time, I liked the choice to make the powder blue alternates the primary home uniforms because I've always liked powder blue, but now I find myself missing the navy jerseys, and I think that's because they were worn during the team's most significant moments (at least since moving to Tennessee).
For some reason I associate the ricing stripes with the Rob Dibble brawl

I'm not a Man Utd fan, but I love this particular strip. Love.
The many colors of the 1979 World Series Pirates vs. Orioles.
Not a fan of either team, but this is the first World Series I actually remembered. As an eight year old I always thought every MLB team had colorful jerseys. Found out that was by far not the case.
