Shumway
These were mentioned in the old thread, but this was my favorite sports-related memory. While not an NBA title, the Suns won the West the year after introducing these beauties.

Raysfan12
As mentioned in the other thread, the Devil Rays rebranded including a name change to the Rays after the 2007 season. The next year, the Rays completed a cinderella season for the ages by ending Boston and New York's stranglehold of the AL East and beating the Red Sox to claim the AL Pennant (Would've won the World Series if it wasn't for those Phillies ).From worst....To first. Harmening
Patriots, changed to the current uniforms in 2000 and won 3 Super Bowls in 2001,03 and 04 seasonsThat was sad. A beautiful old-school red, white, and blue look with Pat the Patriot replaced by a generic blue and silver brand with the Flying Elvis. The change he was referring to was in 2000, not 1993. Apex was their supplier the first two years (93-94, in which in 94 they went to sewn on numerals) and then changed to Starter in 95 when Apex went out of business. Might have been the only pro sports franchise ever to change looks three consecutive years. Obviously, the following year after that they won the AFC championship, and reached the Super Bowl.939495
EJ_Barlik
I don't think the Raven's change counts because Nike's idea for the "toilet bowl" collars was a mistake to begin with and secondly, it wasn't a wholesale change 5-time Defending NL East Champions
