Anubis2051
Due to the way weather can affect MLB games, and the shear number of games and efforts to spread the game, they seem to the most common to host games in strange or neutral sites, sometimes resulting in weird jersey matchups. Here's a few instances I could remember:In 1998, a beam collapsed at Yankee Stadium (the collapse eventually was what drove Steinbrenner and Guiliani to agree on a plan for a new stadium, but that's another story). After the collapse, the Yankees played their originally scheduled game against the Angels at Shea Stadium - and then the Mets came home later that night. It was the first time four teams had played two games in the same stadium in one day. Former Met Daryl Strawberry hit a home run, and the Mets home run apple was raised half way. The Yankees wore their home pinstripes Here are some news reports from that day: From June 25-27 2010, the Blue Jays and Phillies played a series of Blue Jay Home Games in Philadelphia due to the G20 Summit in Toronto. The Jays wore their road uniforms, presumably to avoid packing a different set, but batted last and used the DH.
Anubis2051
The next year, 2011, U2 scheduled a concert at Dolphin Stadium for June 29th. The week long setup for the stage required the Marlins to play three home games in Seattle against the Mariners - The furthest MLB Stadium from Miami. They wore black alts over white pants for the game: Video: http://mlb.mlb.com/shared/video/embed/embed.html?content_id=31330403&width=400&height=224&property=mlbPictures from this great post: http://oncloudconine.wordpress.com/2014/02/01/the-time-the-marlins-played-a-home-game-in-seattle/
Anubis2051
In 2007, massive snowfall in Ohio forced the Indians to play their Home Opener in Miller Park - In Milwaukee. They wore home whites against the Angels.Article on the games: http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/2007-04-10-angels-indians-milwaukee-opener_N.htmIn 2008, again at Miller Park, the Astros were forced to play two home games against the Cubs due to the landfall of Hurricane Ike. Astros fans were upset by the games, as they essentially became Cub home games. In game one, Carlos Zambrano threw a no hitter. Both teams wore gray pants and alts.Article: http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=280914118Can anyone remember any others?
PhantomDreamer
Are we excluding games in Japan, Mexico, Australia nd Hawaii? I believe in 1997, the A's played a series in Vegas while Mt. Davis was being constructed. The Mariners were forced to play on the road in 1994 due to falling Kingdome tiles after sites in Tacoma, Vancouver and Portland were turned down. So Hawaii would count - wasn't there a Padres - Cardinals Series there a while ago?

Jays still had their old black set, and they wore their home jerseys with the Phils in grey. I was at one of the games, and it was a little strange to see it go the opposite way. Soarindude
Why not international games? I found those to be most interesting. Especially the rare cases where teams played in Japan, Australia, India, etc.

TheFuture
Here are a few others that come to mind:-In 2007 the Indians had all games of their opening series versus the Mariners snowed out. They found common dates to make up three of the games, but the fourth game was played at Safeco Field.-In that same year the then-Devil Rays played a series against the Rangers in Orlando at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex.-The White Sox took a few of their home games to Milwaukee back in the 60s. It was in that time period after the Braves left but before the Brewers came.
