My original plan was to change their identity to be primarily black and gold, but ultimately decided that both the orange and green accents really gave the Thunder a unique identity. So they stayed. Their skinniness encourages you to make the number font bigger than it should be (as is the case here). I intentionally went blue on blue with the logo because I wanted the Sea Devil to appear as it would if you saw it swimming towards you underwater.
