Dynasty
Nothing like seeing the Pittsburgh Steelers, current holder of the most Super Bowl titles, adding on to their glorified history on this lucky amazing play. I want to forget it (and the game for that matter), but I just can't as it's still fresh in my mind.

I was gonna say... how's a Padres fan to call anyone out?? lolsIt was easy to call them out because they were so pissed about it. Must have something to do with playing across the bay form the 4 time WS champion A's. Padres fans have long since accepted our mediocrity. Giants fans had not and were constantly reminded of it by A's fans.5 years later the tables in NorCal have turned dramatically.
winters in buffalo
Buffalo fan, do you could probably take your pick, but the one that stings the most was the 2006 Eastern Conference finals. Watching your team lose a game like that in person, in hostile territory, just adds to the pain.
DaytonBlue
Mine, as a Rams fan, may be this week. My Dad had season tickets in the nose bleeds for a dozen years. I'd say we went to about 60-70 games together over the course of 20 years, still going to a few games a year even after he gave the tickets up (I had moved out of state and it was starting to get difficult for him to get people to go with him. Plus with StubHub we got some great deals on tix the last few years.) He always found free parking several blocks from the dome and I learned in middle school to walk real fast because he always wanted to beat the traffic after the game. I usually as a kid made him stay to the end even if they were losing by 21 with 2 minutes left. Even this year with 40-45K in the dome, that place could get quite loud. There is no reason that dome (and the Georgia Dome) couldn't last 20 more years as a NFL stadium with some reasonable renovations like the CVC proposed in its second and final plan (expanded club level and concourse, windows to let in more light, center scoreboard, etc.). The only thing fundamentally wrong with the dome was the stupid lease it had. ICTknight
Game 7 of the 2014 World Series. My favorite player hits a ridiculous triple with 2 outs and is 90 feet away from sending it to extras. And then Perez pops out. My boss at the time let us all watch the last half inning at the bar because nobody was there. After the game I spent the whole drive home preparing for the return to 60-70 win seasons and being a perpetual joke. That was one of the worst feelings I have ever had. Sykotyk
Didn't read through all of these.Noted a Browns fan already chimed in.My worst was watching the press-conference in Baltimore when Art Modell announced the team was moving. Nothing on the field compares to that moment.Worst on field? Game 7, Indians at Marlins, 9th inning. I try to forget that.
chcarlson23
Yesterday sucked... I don't care what anyone says... The Seahawks got lucky... they had no control of the game, and then poof, they win. Not to mention that the Wild lost to the Devils yesterday, and I didn't even get to see it, because NBC crashed and felt like showing the Red WIngs-Ducks game.Another one was Game 6 of the Western conference Semi-finals. Blackhawks @ WildPatrick Kane's game winner was nothing but luck. The puck bounced awkwardly off the boards, right to him, and everyone says that it was all Kane's skill. That's what pisses me off the most... And all that was less than two weeks after my best moment. When the Wild beat the Avs (again!) in game 7 OT... OnWis97
Bengals & Vikes fans on the clock...Probably the 27-yard missed FG in the playoffs might make top-5 for the Vikes, but if some starts a thread like this a few years from now, I probably won't think to put it on there.I don't think this Vikings team was going to the Super Bowl anyway. This will not linger like the 1998 and 2009 NFC Championship games because the "what might have been" factor is reduced. If I was the kinda fan that was "NFL #1 and everything else tied for #10" then I may think of this for a long time, but I'm not, so I won't. Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse." Magnus
Probably the worst days of my sports fan life were when the Sudbury Wolves made the OHL Finals in 2007.This involves a bit of explanation.I was gravely ill in May 2007; unable to leave the house most days (depression, mostly). This just happens to be the time when the OHL Wolves (the major-junior equivalent of the Leafs) make the league championship series.Anyway, they lost the series 4-2, but just being there brought the city to life. I'm sad that I couldn't really take part in it.
2001mark
So much has been mentioned of 2009 today, I nearly forgot 1998. I mean, those games are in Cleveland Browns' territory. Chances to go to the SB, via their own means, gaffe'd. @2001mark

I mean a 26 game point requires an awful lot of skill. He may have some luck with that empty netter that was supposedly a hand pass though, but... Sport
Saturday night was up there with 2005 and 2012 in terms of the most painful. I would've preferred a blowout. I may not be back with the NFL next season after that debacle.
