1clkgtramg
Wolves might be my favourite so far. Sure its minimal - as this leagues intent - but it is a very realistic design in itself. That Nordic Paw is great too! suplauren
Home UnisHey Sparky, your rats need the defining feature of rodents, big buck teeth! You've given them little canines here, but rats have paired incisors. laurenlogos.tumblr.com

sparkychewbarky
Wow, it's been a long while since I've visited this forum, and what an amazing thread to suck me back in.Sparky, as a wannabe children's author myself, can I suggest Print-on-demand (such as Amazon's Createspace) as a way of getting your work out there if publishers don't get on board. I've self-published a few titles this way - it's the no minimums that make it attractive, I don't sell many, but I'm not paying for unused copies.Hi DeadFish...How are things in Oz?I tried the self-publishing thing once: It was kind of expensive to start, and didn't really work out. (a great learning experience though)Also, there was no advantage of the marketing and networking resources that a large publisher could offer.I'm hoping to sway a pub with the "added-on" cross-promotional possibilities that would be possible with this concept....But I'm curious- What did you self-publish? How'd it go? Hi Sparky, Oz is just great thanks!I've used createspace to self-publish a collection of baseball themed comic strips and two kids books I wrote for my son (3 year old). For the most part I sold to people I know or gave out copies as gifts. Print-On-Demand required zero upfront cost (at least with some providers) which is why I chose it. I pay only for what I can use. The book gets listed online, but yeah, you don't get the promotion. It has in no way been a money-maker, but it was an inexpensive indulgence, and worthwhile if only because my little boy loves his Dinosaur books.http://www.amazon.com/Paul-E-Breen/e/B00JIOGVUM/ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_2?qid=1402633080&sr=8-2Consider Createspace (or a competitor) IF you can't get interest from Publishers, this deserves a bigger audience than self-publishing will get you. Kickstarter, I think is also an excellent idea.As long as there is some way for me to get my hands on it in the end I'll be happy. You Aussies are a crazy bunch...First of all, there's your Aussie Rules Football...And what's up with that duck-billed plasma-puss thing?...And now, monkey-napping dinosaurs? Good stuff DeadFish, and thanks for the suggestions. *The Battle of Seattle

Is the NFL Champions League coming back this year?I love how all of this looks. and is based off different places. That Nordic/Celtic paw may be the best logo of the bunch though.Love the Nordic paw, like always a fantastic job on the work!Very nice work on the wolves. dgnmrwrw
Just like the Wabbits logo, I didn't realize the Rats could be improved. The "buck teeth" really help. Nice job. HURRICANES | PANTHERS | WHITE SOX | WOLFPACK
Guest darkpiranha
Brilliant from top to bottom. Thanks darkp. Is the NFL Champions League coming back this year? You've definitely raised the bar for making a fully immersive project. I do want to bring it back, but I'll need to really step up my presentation. I'm thinking I'll do Sportscenter-style 3D animated intros for each matchup. Maybe even a "This week in the NFL Champions League" video recap segment. Still trying to figure out a way to incorporate some actual new designs each week so as to make it relevant to this site.

sparkychewbarky
The American Eagles Minimal Logo"Stars 'n Stripes 'n Eagles!"The 'Eagle' part of the theme will, in the books, be the actual character. The 'Stripes' will be in the uni's striping patterns....So the minimal logo, for use on the uniforms, only needed to be a stylized star...The "star-shaped-A" isn't the most original idea (there are lots of variations of that concept out there), but it works here for what I need.Easy to render, the star will always be white (or light)- so on a light background, the star will be placed in a dark roundel... *The Battle of Seattle
