Uniforms that would be better with or without one small detail

I HATE the jets, but I HATE their UNIFORMS even MORE

they need to use ONE HUE or SHADE of GREEN on the BASE the STRIPES the NUMBERS and the PANELS.

THIS IS TERRIBLE

There is one solution to this problem. Go back to the kelly green Jets jerseys circa 1978-97. It cannot be any worse than it already is as of now.

As long as the Jets use green (and Nike is still around), I have no doubt they'll still look putrid.

It isn't a great mockup because I don't have photoshop, but I think the Wizards alternate jersey might look better in the set if it matched the style of the other jerseys (with the white bar in the middle).

The problem that immediately glared at me in that Saints picture is how poorly the helmet gold fails to even resemble the same color that's used on the jersey.

Sixers new uniforms would probably be a 10/10 if they had outlines on the chest script and numbers.

Also wouldn't mind seeing "SIXERS" on either the home or away, instead of "PHILA" on both.

Agree with the Sixers on the home or away, but I don't think they need an outline.

Those Blue Jays road uniforms with the miniscule amount of navy outlining the wordmarks...

Get rid of it. So unneeded.

Hornets with stripes on both sides

hornets_before_and_after.jpg

So you like the one with stripes on one side or both? Cause you said both sides, but your image indicates that stripes on one side is greater than stripes on both sides..

Ofc both side. My bad, you're right. It should be instead of >

The Preds home would be infinitely better, if that cross-piping spot at the hemline was removed.

I understand the need to extend the white piping down from the upper navy stripes, but the very bottom looks flat out ridiculous...

A better solution would be to remove the piping all together. Boxes in the logo and back numbers.

Someone already mentioned the Giants head spoon piping on the road jerseys, so I'll add another Giants fix that would be great.

If they simply went with an orange SF on the new black alternate jerseys instead of black with an orange outline, they'd look really sharp.

I don't even mind the black numbers with an orange outline because they're big enough to actually be seen from a distance, and there's a bit of an historical link to them. But it's damn near impossible to see that SF from a distance. They wore them during the game I went to last night vs the Phillies. Even though I was stoked to see them because the Giants look terrific in black, I was still disappointed because the bright orange single layered piping completely drowns out the logo.

The Lions need a thicker helmet stripe

The Rams need to join the majority of the league and ditch their Nike toilet bowl collar

Nike also needs to figure out a way to fix the Steelers' sleeves within the confines of their dopey tight little template

Compare against Reebok and Iowa

Big Ben is a rare exception to the Steelers truncated stripes, with the Nike template. Why can't they match them like with Iowa on the other Steelers, though?

A few examples of qb sleeves totally improving the design

Easiest fix for the Steelers is to put the swoosh in the middle of the stripes like they were with Starter.

The only improvement those uniforms need is incineration.

I think a black alt can work for the Giants, but these don't do a damn thing right.

I agree with the sentiment the Angels need to eliminate one of the sleeve patches. It's just overkill with what they have now. I'd prefer to keep the one with the "Angels baseball" roundel or another to-be-created secondary.

Actually, in general, any team that goes with a sleeve patch should just limit it to one sleeve. That way you leave the other open if you have the opportunity to wear an anniversary or All-Star Game patch, or if, god forbid, there a situation where you need a memorial logo.

The Angels have too many outlines around their font (navy, white, silver). It might not look too bad on the home uniforms, but it bothers me on the alternate uniforms. If you're going to do the whole "red on red" thing, get rid the the silver outline.

Albert+Pujols+Mike+Trout+Los+Angeles+Ang

I'm inclined for them to just get rid the silver outline altogether because they don't even use it in their logo or their main script.

The Angels DO use silver on their main wordmark, ans not just the halo on the A.
