I have another "Mount Rushmore" for Louisville football, but this it is about after their college career.

Louisville Football:

  • Johnny Unitas: Top 5 quarterback in NFL history, The Greatest Game Ever Played, and Super Bowl V (not to mention having a statue outside of Louisville's football stadium)
  • Deion Branch: 2-time Super Bowl Winner (XXXVIII and XXXIX) and 3-time AFC champion
  • David Akers: 6-time Pro Bowler, 2-time NFC champion, and still holds records in most field goals in a season and points scored by a kicker.
  • Tom Jackson: 3-time Pro Bowler and key part of the "Orange Crush" defenses of the Broncos in the 70's and 80's.
  • Honorable Mentions: Elvis Dumervil, Sam Madison, Lenny Lyles

Al Kaline

Ty Cobb

Barry Sanders

Bobby Layne

Joe Schmidt

Lem Barney

Isiah Thomas

Joe Dumars

Dave Bing

Bill Laimbeer (not because of his stats, but the fact that he epitomized the entire Bad Boys dynasty)

Maurice Richard

Jean Beliveau

Doug Harvey

Jacques Plante (You could argue Morenz or Lafleur is more deserving but there needs to be a goalie represented)

Virginia Tech: (Football)

-Corey Moore (you could make an argument for Tyrod or Randall here)

I would have Tyrod over Corey Moore, and if we were just doing playing careers, Isaiah Ford would take Beamers spot

He's not trolling you, old threads don't need to be brought up for no reason. This thread is ok, because it still applies today, but...

Denver Broncos

To update the Broncos, last season's Super Bowl win probably shook their up a bit...

John Elway

Terrell Davis

Peyton Manning

Von Miller

Von Miller isn't making it off of one season. Karl Mecklenberg? Shannon Sharpe? Steve Atwater? Tom Jackson? One season doesn't put you on Mt Rushmore. Hell, I'd even debate putting Peyton on there. He had one great season and got nothing to show for it and last year had as much to do with winning the SUper Bowl as the punter did.
