As well, Barcelona has accepted a €40m offer from Arsenal for Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez with talks progressing throughout the coming days this week. Arsenal are in a competition to sign the Chilean ahead of Liverpool, Manchester United, and Juventus. The timing is right for Barcelona as they have made a €88m bid for Luis Suarez due to his buy-out clause from Liverpool comes into affect at that price. But reports from Mundo Deportivo state that Barcelona will have to pay €94.6m for his release clause to be activated

I do hope Everton signs a good young keeper this window. Howard's just come off a career season and a fantastic world cup don't get me wrong, but I just hope that the team doesn't try to ride him off until he's 50 or something and we have to watch him become the Cam Ward of the BPL. It may not be the biggest need for the Toffees right now, but the other keepers in our system are a good few years away from being ready to test the first team waters.

Also, Lukaku has discussed the possibility of returning to Everton, so that's nice.
