fiasco!
So, I was at the news conference at the new CFB HOF in Atlanta yesterday. Here are some pics from the event, and a sneak peak at some of the exhibits that are being built. For what it's worth, I work for the company that is contracted to do all the large screen LED displays at the hall. I was there to make sure the presentation ran smoothly.Lots of images to follow. Twitter | Design | LinkedIn

burgundy
Why did they move it?They never got the attendence numbers they wanted because South Bend is an unappealing city with zero tourism appeal other than the university.

When it opened it was impressive for its time. cafepress.com/artbyrichards
fiasco!
This one is going to be 2.5 times the size, and in the middle of the south, attendance shouldn't be an issue. Twitter | Design | LinkedIn

nuordr
Closed on Sunday?Make fun of Chick-Fil-A all you want, but I respect that franchise more because they stick to their values. I used to feel the same about Wal-Mart when Sam Walton was alive, but his kids greed got the best of that company.

However, it does seem like most of the time that I'm around a Chick-Fil-A and want to eat there, it's Sunday. http://www.hailstateunis.com
Varsity Blue
We visited the old Hall of Fame in South Bend and they did a good job with it. I'll have to go to the new place next time I'm in Atlanta.

I used to feel the same about Wal-Mart when Sam Walton was alive, but his kids greed got the best of that company.Actually, it was a legitimate question. People may want to check it out if going to a Tech/GSU game Saturday and having some free time before a Sunday night flight. Or, making a weekend out of the SEC Championship game. I've not been able to tell if that is a viable option or if Chik-Fil-A's naming rights agreement included a stipulation to be closed on Sunday. MichiganPackers
Definitely going to check that out at some point in time when it's finished. However, I did prefer back at South Bend since it was less than 2 hours from my house.
