FC California Kits using real uniform elements

This is my first post so, Yikes.

Anyway, I created these by saving photos of football kit elements from a site that sells them. Then I modified them using Paint Shop Pro - changed all the colors and added logos, stripes and numbers.

The concept is that FC California is a member of a new North American Premier League. FC California plays home matches iin Northern California at the new Levi Stadium where the 49ers will play and in LA at the Rose Bowl.

The teams colors are Red Gold and Blue. SF home kits are red and LA's are Blue. Obviously the could mix these up in a myriad of ways.

I usea a consistent striping language on all the uniforms as a way of protecting the team's brand with Bold Stripes on the shoulders and shorts that pay homage to American football uniforms.

Here is the LA California Logo:

Any and all comments wil be greatly appreciated. If you comment I may not be able to respond since at this point I don't know how.

Sorry for the typos. FC California not LA California.

Not a bad start, you've got some good ideas. Your rendering style is pretty rough, though. The arm stripes on those renderings don't look very good, in the way you rendered them.

The badge could also use a little bit of work, too. Try removing all the gradients and such as a first step. Working on it will be much easier once you have a nice, clean starting point.

Also, when you're posting an image, click the little Polaroid picture-looking icon up on top, and enter the link for your image there. It'll be embedded into the page then, and we won't have to click those big long links to see your stuff.

Thanks for the feed back. I agree the shoulder stripes are pretty gnarly. I used gradients to try and convey a metallic gold rather than chrome yellow effect. I assume the little Polaroid icon is on the sportslogos page and not Photobucket where the images ae stored.
