jr50RU
"It was artist Sam Ciccone that drew the logo. Four stylized wings attached to a slanted P with an orange dot to represent a puck. There were other designs, including a winged skate, but the winged P was by far the obvious choice...The concept of the logo and jersey was the representation for speed." Flyershistory.comThe Flyers logo should never change but I think an alternate logo with a similar style could work as a shoulder patch. The flyers almost had a winged skate logo so I put together a simple design going off of that idea. Do you think a logo like this would work for the Flyers? jr50RU
The site wasnt allowing me to post the image. Thanks for the response. Most people seem to have a problem with cream but I think it looks alright with certain teams. For me cream looks good with black, not necesarily to make it look vintage either. Especially teams with a warm color also (Blackhawks,Bruins, Flyers, Senators)
Sanic
Looks too fauxback. Try to modernize it.
hockey week
I actually really like the idea. I think it needs to be tweaked, I think it's something with where the wings meet the skate, and maybe it could be slanted more forward, but the idea is fantastic, and I like the style in which it's done. Yes, it's fauxbacky, but what else would the Flyers use? They tried modern chrome 3D and everyone loathed it, this...this could work....as an alternate logo. I'll respect any opinion that you can defend.
Mod
I like it. It would've worked great for the winter classic, and if it came with the original logo in 1967, id bet it still be used today. good concept, good execution. 2014 HIGHLAND CREEK FANTASY FOOTBALL 3rd PLACE

It also seems like the wings are too thin. MrWonka
It's a very vintage fauxback-y logo so I'm alright with cream especially if it's used on a special fauxback jersey. If you are making a legit alternate to be used as a full third jersey primary I'd look to go more modern and no cream.
