2014 NFL Season Thread

Just as I was about to quote Coach Green, the Cowboys finally scored. C'mon fellas don't be last years team today.

That TD was huge. It gives Dallas a little momentum when they spent all the first half before that grasping at straws.

That 99-yard drive was an absolute moral killer.

Dallas hasn't been playing well, but that is entirely because of how well Detroit has been playing.

Great game by the Colts. They were able to run the ball (what a concept! Thanks Boom.), the defense stepped up in the second half, and Luck was exceptional. I would've liked less field goals and finished more drives, but it did the job.

And I'm sorry McCarthy and Bengals fans, but there wasn't too much you guys could do. Key injuries on both sides of the ball, and Andy Dalton isn't a "take the game by the reins" type QB. Your streak will break someday, but it wasn't in the cards for today.

I feel bad for McCarthy and the other Bengal fans for suffering their team's playoff futility, but in the end, the better team won (The Colts). Now bring on Vader (Tom Brady), the Emperor (Belichick), and the Patriots Empire. :bonk:

We're playing Peyton and the Broncos.... I know it's not your beloved Loovull, but pay attention.

Sigh, I hate this. Especially in the playoffs. I want the Colts to win. I want Peyton to win. Either way, one will be eliminated next Sunday night. I don't expect the Colts to win, so I'm already setting myself up for that, but if they can play like they did today, they'll set themselves up to compete at least.

May the best man/team win, and best of luck after that.

Looks like I forgot to look at that. I really don't have a problem with Peyton winning as I have deep respect for him (a class act), but I want the Colts to win so Luck can win the games that matter most.

That was ballsy to go for it right there, but it paid off. I was literally screaming at the TV "just take the points!" One of those no, no, no...yes moments.

Edit: Just throw it away Romo!!! I like that he is always looking down field to make a play, but sometimes it just ain't there. Get rid of it!

What the hell was that flag pick up on that PI call? I've never seen something like that before, and that sure as hell looked like PI to me.

Hitchens got away with one there. But, I did see Pettigrew get my hand briefly into Hitchens face.

But, yeah. Hitchens got away with Def PI there.

And a poor punt by Martin gives Dallas good field position; pin your ears back, drive down the field and take the lead!

So the refs correctly call a pass interference, Dez Bryant runs onto the field and complains, refs pick up the flag.

I remember last year, Harbaugh ran out onto the field to argue a call and got dinged immediately for unsportsmanlike conduct. Shouldn't that have been a penalty on Dez?
