See Red
That was the absolute correct call. You're an idiot. How was it not? That's called that way hundreds of times every season. ninersdd
That was a clean catch. McCarthy just wasted a time out. Anyway, helluva throw and catch. This has been an entertaining game. You're wrong! Can't believe that is not a catch. You might want to read my post again.Sorry, I was referring to how you thought that the Pack had wasted a timeout. I probably missed where you said about the clean catch. BEAR DOWN ARIZONA!2013/14 Tanks Picks Champion
Still MIGHTY
Dez Bryant goes up makes an amazing catch, gets one, two, three steps (yes, unbalanced and falling, but steps) and extends trying to reach the end zone, ball hits ground, gets loose, and all of that means no catch.I understand the rule, and I've seen the numerous applications of it, but that is the largest stretch of that particular rule I've seen probably since the original Calvin Johnson play. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |

IceCap
Only the NFL could turn the simple act of catching a football into a "process." Thus the reason I thought the Packers wasted a time out by challenging it. You sure you weren't just looking for a Packers fan to yell at? (I'm just busting your chops.) FiddySicks
Yeah, that's absolutely insane that they didn't call that a catch. How they can turn that one over in a moment like that is about the most NFL thing I've ever seen. But oh well, same bulls**t happened to Calvin Johnson a few years ago and I thought it was an AWFUL rule just as much then as I do now. Good make up from last week's awful calls, but how long is this insanity going to go on? Something has gotta change when this happens two weeks in a row. I'm actually afraid to see what they pull next week. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) DG_ThenNowForever
All the Cowboys had to do was stop the Packers and score a touchdown. They had four minutes, right? Also, the Seahawks look like they're going to stomp the Packers next week. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
TheOldRoman
There's your payback call, Detroit. Or something.Actually, this one was far more egregious because the refs had the benefit of replay, went to the video booth and reversed the call to the wrong one. How the is "reaching for the endzone" not a football move? He was reaching for the endzone and his elbow hit the ground before the ball did. He was down. Of course, the Packers would have gotten the ball back with about four minutes left, and they'd have as good a shot as anybody to score, but that call was more wrong and far more crucial than last week's call which America had a heart attack over. But since everybody hates the Cowboys, this will just be considered karma and we'll forget about it. Rockstar Matt
Good game Packers. Sucks it ended like that, but it was a fun game.Helluva season for the Cowboys. 12-4, won the East and finished in the Divisional Round. By far my favorite Cowboys season because it was so unexpected. I can't wait until next year. We'll be back and better than ever. CS85
That rule shouldn't even be a thing, and this is coming from a Bears fan who has benefitted from this rule. It's awful for the sport. It's like saying a swish basket doesn't count because the ball never came in contact with the hoop. I have a feeling Seattle will get beat. The Packers will win the title. This has already been predetermined by Vince and the creative team. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. He was going to the ground and when he went to the ground, the ground clearly jarred the ball loose. In the NFL, that is very rarely ruled a catch. That call was consistent with how it's called in the league.
