Stolen Work

Recommended Posts

Yeah, I'm guessing if it gets removed, it'll get targeted by Symantec or McAfee, etc., as a malicious site and taken down for distributing malware.  Looks like there isn't much of a real threat to the theft of copyrighted work.

Still, good reminder to make sure that you're up to date with antivirus and malware detection software.  I'm slightly biased towards Symantec/Norton because I've seen how they go about malware detection, but there are plenty of good (and free or free-ish) alternatives out there.

So I stumbled upon this video and I'm amazed. Steals many concept logos from designers on and off this site. He even has an entire series based off these looks. Copyright strikes waiting to happen.

From the comments section of the video:

"Big shouts to Behance.com where I pulled most of the logos and to the rest of the incredibly creative people around the internet who made some of these!"

Apparently just saying that makes it ok to steal other people's logos.

He's the official designer of the Bakken Bears logo, so...

Lol never mind then. Saw it off Google Images if I recall correctly on some shady site so just assumed it was stolen.

@McElroy19

Not sure where I should put this, but this official NHL graphic takes a little something from IceBorn...

Or am I just seeing something?

Those OKC and Sonics logos look just like ones I've seen on the boards before.

Edit: I think that if you get invited to a community like dribbble, you should respect the game and post your own ideas instead of piggybacking off something you found on the internet.
