Tigers6884
Did the 2008 Stanley Cup revive Detroit and bring the city together? Did the 2004 Pistons? Wasn't there a Michigan State championship somewhere in there? God, how much revival do you people need? Maybe it's time to try a new method!Well, they at least provided a bit of a distraction form corrupt politicians, drug thugs, and those stupid graffiti idiots that ruin and deface everything with their "art"

Sport
First thing that came to mind was the 2000 RavensSure they had the best defense of all time*, but their offense was a joke, Trent Dilfer was their QB, people were still miffed about Ray Lewis after the super bowl from the previous year, and they were viewed as the team winning the Cleveland Brown's championship in ugly purple, black, and gold uniforms.Plus, that was one of the five worst super bowls ever. If the Giants had won that night I think I'd include them here as well. What was remarkable about that Giants team? Jason Sehorn? That they somehow destroyed Minnesota in the NFC championship game?Others that come to mind: 2008 Red Wings, 2003 Devils, 2002 Red Wings (free agent super team. puke), 2000 Yankees, the 2008 Steelers, 2009 Yankees ("Arod finally wins a championship" was not a storyline anyone wanted to rally behind), 2011 Giants, 2012 San Francisco Giants, 2012 Miami Heat*statistically speaking only. They allowed the fewest points.
