Unocal
YIKES at this potential Stewart situation. I'm not gonna comment on this at least until things become more official. Not jumping the gun until things get explained and settled.

rams80
that's something I would pegged Kurt Busch as being more likely to have done. LAWeaver
So... Who's driving the 14 this afternoon?EDIT: I can't believe this is happening. It just seems so unreal. I wouldn't have even thought of, well, any driver doing such a thing. @loganaweaver - Twitter / @loganaweaver - Instagram / Nike Vapor Untouchable Football Template / Logan's Logos

Kramerica Industries
...You can retroactively enforce some rule that wasn't there I when I posted a LINK to an EXTERNAL SITE with a freaking warning message in large letters, but I'm not gonna look like some dumb wank with a "MOD EDIT" post which makes me look like I did something out of line. rams80
Video's out.MOD EDITCan't tell for certain if that's his car doing it, but I can definitely hear an engine being gunned right as Stewart hits Ward. crashcarson15
Just dropping by to request that we keep any videos of the incident out of the thread. If you want to see it, you can find it other places on the internet. Thanks, guys.

Noted. And again, we don't know it was his car. Still, if this is an accident, Stewart's raced long enough to know that that was probably not a good time to do that. And if this wasn't an accident, well Stewart needs to go to jail for much of the remainder of his life. Lights Out
Why on Earth was Tony Stewart racing out on some random dirt track in New York anyway? That's like if Aaron Rodgers decided he wanted to try his hand at Pop Warner football. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/

Plenty of racers do it.It's more akin to NBA players showing up at Rucker Park or in Pro-Am leagues during the summer.

For whatever reason IIRC Sprint Cup drivers do moonlight on other tracks if they are in town. And since this week's Watkins Glen, its not like the track was out of the way. DC in Da House w/o a Doubt
Saw the video. For me it's hard to see any proof about whether it was intentional or not, it all happens so fast.It very well could have been intentional, but I don't think that video alone is enough evidence to throw him in the slammer for the rest of his life.
