  1. NHL Brights Series

Those Coyotes jerseys are incredible. I love that logo and the colour scheme.
  2. Quidditch logo: Fire Badgers

Never seen the movies, but this logo is pretty great. Colours make me think it's a monkey or a mongoose more than a badger though. Maybe try adding the distinctive markings a badger has.
  3. Roller Hockey International Redesign: Buffalo Wings

I think the logo is great, but I'm not sold on the font or the way it fits the interior of the pterodactyl. Maybe try contouring the flat part of the W into a point and giving the I and the back of the N points as well.
  4. Rockford Blackhawks

My suggestion would be to look at the design style of the Blackhawks logo and apply the shading techniques used within it. It's one of the best logos in all of sports for its simplicity and this logo is a decent start, but can be greatly improved upon.
  5. Designer needed for athletic apparel company

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring as well. You can view my portfolio at http://behance.net/sm-arts or email me at contact@scotmccormack.net
  6. MLS Logo Concept

    This.
  7. Canadian National League - TORONTO pt.1

I'm from Ottawa and I can guarantee no self respecting sports team here would wear blue and white.
  8. Teams wearing two uniforms at once

the backwards nike logo always stood out to me. nearly every player had them backwards I don't follow college football, so this might be obvious, but why is the Yellow Jackets wordmark blacked out? Edit: I'm lazy too apparently, didn't see the link.
  9. 4 New* NHL Teams that SHOULD be...

Excellent job on the jerseys. That home is what the Senators should've gone with for the heritage.
  10. NYCFC Crest Concept

This is awesome, dude. Really professional looking. Edit. Maybe try incorporating a soccer ball in the sun?
  11. Sneak peak: New York City Empires

Here's a sneak peak at one of the jersey sets I've created for a rebranding project I'm working on. The idea is that in the year 2014 the NHL folds and various pro teams are sold off, renamed and given fresh identities in a 24 team league with lower ticket prices. I'm done preliminary semi comps for 3 of the 24 already, but want to get a bit a bit of feedback before I dive into the other 21 teams. As well, if anyone wants to weigh in on names for the remaining teams, below is a list of the cities. Keep in mind that each city has been selected based on it's fan base potential in a small league. We're looking to create a league with lower ticket prices as well as mostly traditional hockey markets, so please save the hostility over the elimination of sunbelt teams, since the project is trying to focus more on the NHL pre Gary Bettman era. I'm looking for names that represent the cities where the teams are located, so feel free to weigh in and let's make this a fun project. The proposed teams are as followed: American Conference Patrick Division -Boston -Buffalo -New York City Empires -Philadelphia -Pittsburgh -Washington Norris Division -Chicago Shamrocks -Denver -Detroit -Minnesota -Seattle Totems -St. Louis Canadian Conference Adams Division -Halifax Explosion -Hamilton -Montreal -Ottawa -Les Traqueurs de Québec (Quebec Trackers) -Toronto Smythe Division -Calgary Chinooks -Edmonton -Saskatoon -Winnipeg -Vancouver -Victoria
  12. London ON (London Knights... We built the house of green) or Ottawa (Ottawa Senators... We're united in red) please? 13. Intercontinental Soccer League

Inspired by Raysox's yakball thread, the MLS rebranding thread and as a temporary distraction from my own Can/Am hockey rebrand (http://boards.sports...k-city-empires/), I decided to start a side project for a 5 region indoor soccer league. The basic breakdown is 10 teams in 5 leagues, with the top two teams at the end of the season in each region playing against each other and the winners moving on to a FIFA World Federation style championship tournament where the winner will be declared Intercontinental Champion. I'm hoping Raysox won't mind that most of the cities will be similar to those he has chosen, based mostly on metro population, but I will do my best to use different colour schemes and sponsors to separate my project from his. That said, my league is a lot smaller and will include the regions of North America (US/Canada), Scotland/England, Spain/Portugal, Germany and France. Starting off in North America, the cities are as follows: - Brooklyn Lions - Los Angeles - Windy City Regiment (Chicago) - Toronto - Vancouver - Montréal - Locomotive SC (Dallas) - Calgary Athletic - Ottawa - Philadelphia Team name ideas are welcome, so feel free to make suggestions. I would prefer that names tied into the cities either derived from landmarks or historical events and would rather avoid naming clubs FC, as in Toronto FC.
  14. Pittsburgh Penguins

Solid update. This was one of my favourite logos as a kid, so it's nice to see it modernized while keeping the main elements. I'm nitpicking, but the top of the stick where the tape meets the triangle seems a bit odd with the black border and the extra cut out bits on the E in PENGUINS are bugging me. Otherwise it's perfect.

  16. bigred618's NHL Concepts (St. Louis Added)

That Jets logo is pretty sweet.
  17. Amsterdam United

    I prefer the old logo.
  18. Expansion Teams in all 4 major leagues

Four pages and still no concept artwork?
  19. Vectorized guitar rig

Taking a page from the guitargeek.com artist diagrams (http://www.guitargee...r-setup-diagram), I decided last week to do my guitar gear in Illustrator. This is the first major vector project I've done in a while beyond logos. They aren't perfect and I'm definitely still working out the line shapes, but I'm pretty happy with the results. Below is somewhat of a step by step design look at the vectorizing of a 2001 Fender Telecaster, Traynor YCV40 tube amp and Proco Turbo Rat. Still left to tackle is a Boss Digital Delay 20 and a TC Hall of Fame reverb pedal. If all that goes well, I might even work on my two acoustic guitars. 2001 Fender Standard Telecaster with Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge:
  20. Logos associated with failure.

Let's just agree both teams suck and move on.
  21. Logos associated with failure.

    Thread can be closed now.
  22. Vectorized guitar rig

The problem with templates is there are literally hundreds of pedals and thousands of different pedal combinations. I'm currently working on two of my friend's guitar rigs, but when that's done, I'd be more than willing to take requests. The signal path? Yes, my most recent update includes the cables as well as the route the signal takes from the guitar to the amp.
