With the recent expansion news, I decided to do an MLS realignment. This would be as of 2022, when St. Louis begins play:
(Los Angeles=LA Galaxy, Long Beach=LA FC, Covington=FC Cincinnati, New York=NYC FC, Newark=NY Red Bulls, Boston=New England, Fort Lauderdale=Inter Miami CF)
EASTERN CONFERENCE
NORTHEAST DIVISION
DC United
Montreal Impact
New England Revolution

Surprised there's no Sabres or Rangers Winter Classic logos/jerseys/etc.
-
Marc-Andre Fleury, Vegas Golden Knights

Tim Tebow, New York Mets

Martin Brodeur as a... St. Louis Blue?!?
Wrong mask, too.
Also the wrong goalie pads. He should still be in those same pads that used to be white once in 1992.However, remember that he was in there in an emergency capacity. He wasn't planning on dressing, so he wouldn't have his gear with him. That's all loner stuff
Wrong NOB font, too. It's the Sabres' primary uniform lettering rather than their alternate's.

No sign of the Bills' wordmark that was introduced alongside their current unis, I see. Here it is, along with the previous wordmark for comparison (they are similar, admittedly).
-
Ducks Vs Nucks in 2007:
Then again, any pre-edge against the Ducks that season was odd.
Ditto any pre-Edge against the Sabres that season.
-
God, that looks so wrong.

With the ECHL divisions being really lopsided, I see a realignment coming next season. Here is a realignment that makes most sense...
EASTERN CONFERENCE
Cincinnati Cyclones
Elmira Jackals
Evansville Icemen
Florida Everblades
Ft. Wayne Komets
Greenville Road Warriors
Gwinnett Gladiators
Indianapolis Fuel
Kalamazoo Wings
Orlando Solar Bears
Reading Royals
South Carolina Stingrays
Toledo Walleye
Wheeling Nailers
WESTERN CONFERENCE
Alaska Aces
Bakersfield Condors
Colorado Eagles
Idaho Steelheads
Las Vegas Wranglers
Ontario Reign
Stockton Thunder
Utah Grizzlies
Despite the realignment, it STILL leaves the league with 2 unbalanced conferences, if you know what I mean.
How about this to balance it out? 3 divisions, no conferences.

Ok awesome! And the Sabres don't can be found if you go to www.hockeyjerseyconcepts.com and go to the templates section and the NHL fonts. They were there last time I checked.
They're right here: http://s767.photobucket.com/user/HockeyJerseyConcepts/media/NHL%20Numbers/Numbers-BUF3rd.png.html?sort=4&o=54

With the Big Ten adding Maryland and Rutgers, time for a little realignment there:
EAST DIVISION
Indiana
Maryland
Michigan
Michigan State
Ohio State
Penn State
Rutgers
WEST DIVISION
Illinois
Iowa
Minnesota
Nebraska
Northwestern
Purdue
Wisconsin

Miami's in the AFC East for historical purposes, much like Dallas being in the NFC East. And honestly KC would probably stay in the West for the same reason.
But then who would you kick out of the West to accommodate LA? The Broncos, Raiders, and Chargers all have just as much history as the Chiefs do.
-
NBA, if the whole Sacramento-to-Virginia Beach rumors prove true:
PACIFIC
- Golden State
- LA Clippers
- LA Lakers
- Phoenix
- Portland
NORTHWEST- Denver
- Milwaukee
- Minnesota
- Oklahoma City
- Utah
SOUTHWEST
- Same.
CENTRAL- Chicago
- Cleveland
- Detroit
- Indiana
- Toronto
ATLANTIC
- Boston
- Brooklyn
- New York
- Philadelphia
- Washington
SOUTHEAST- Atlanta
- Charlotte
- Miami
- Orlando
- Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads/Norfolk/whatever

^Not bad, but I'm not a big fan of Colorado in the NL South and Kansas City in the AL West. Here's how I would do it (changes in bold):
If (and when) Major League Baseball expands to 32 teams...
AMERICAN LEAGUE
East
- Baltimore Orioles
- Boston Red Sox
- New York Yankees
- Toronto Blue Jays
North- Chicago White Sox
- Cleveland Indians
- Detroit Tigers
- Minnesota Twins
South
- Houston Astros
- Kansas City Royals
- Tampa Bay Rays
- Texas Rangers
West- Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
- Oakland Athletics
- Seattle Mariners
- West Coast Expansion Team (Either Vegas or Portland I guess)
NATIONAL LEAGUE
East
- New York Mets
- Philadelphia Phillies
- Pittsburgh Pirates
- Washington Nationals
North- Chicago Cubs
- Colorado Rockies
- Milwaukee Brewers
- St. Louis Cardinals
South
- Atlanta Braves
- Charlotte Expansion Team
- Cincinnati Reds
- Miami Marlins
West- Arizona Diamondbacks
- Los Angeles Dodgers
- San Diego Padres
- San Francisco Giants
-
Based on the latest news that the Devils are $77 million in debt, I have reconstructed the league again, by contracting Phoenix and New Jersey.
Rearrange the division names (your Smythe should be Norris, your Norris Adams and your Adams Smythe) and you're golden.
I also like your outside-the-box 3-team-division format too.
And swap Colorado and Dallas.

Mets reliever Tim Brydak
There's plenty more where that came from (the team all wore hockey jerseys on the flight to Toronto; they play the Blue Jays this weekend):

My faves have to be Jason Bay rocking the Whale, David Wright with a District 5 Ducks jersey, and Jon Rauch with a Syracuse Bulldogs (Slap Shot) jersey.
-
David Wright as a Michigan Wolverine.
On a side note, those Mets BP jerseys are frigging gorgeous.
