Where are you hearing Oregon State?
Somebody I've been talking to who's well connected to the Beavers and I mean well connected.

Oregon State & San Diego State to the Big 12 could be the next shoe to drop. Keep an eye on it.

Hey at least the Rose Bowl will be full for UCLA games.....with Big Ten fans

Bay Area Panthers (San Jose) win the IFL Championship over the Sioux Falls Storm 51-41 in Las Vegas. Panthers had gone 1-15 in their inaugural season in 2022.

It'll be fun 30 years from now when they all get sick of each other and break off further into different conferences.

I guess Boise State-Washington State will be the new rivalry

You're not wrong.
Though would it be funny if the FCS was whittled down to two super conferences of 30 teams each, and each of those 30 teams organized themselves into geographically organized conferences? Like, maybe 10 Pacific teams, 10 Midwest teams, 10 Atlantic coast teams, 10 south central teams, and 10 southeastern teams?
Something to ponder.
I wouldn't be surprised if in the distant future a lot of well known schools end up dropping football & other sports due to financial difficulties.

Once Gonzaga jumps, Seattle can replace them in the WCC.

A perfect Big 12:
Arizona
Arizona State
Baylor
BYU
Colorado
Iowa State
Kansas
Kansas State
Oklahoma State
TCU
Texas Tech
Utah
No need for Cincinnati, Houston, UCF & West Virginia

These mega conferences are frankly, boring. Money wins and humanity dies a little more.

And when a team invests as heavily in their DL as the eagles do, they’re going to hit the QB and get sacks, and while nobody wants to see anyone get injured (yeah… I know), that’s something that happens when one team’s DL leads the league in sacks and QB hits.
I don’t think it’s as much of “well the qb got hurt so we were screwed” as it is “the 49ers OL couldn’t stop the Eagles DL” - and line play on both sides decided the game, and the eagles easily won both sides of it (just look at how many times Bosa was pancaked 1v1 by both the LT and RT).
I said it earlier but that Eagles defense is no joke. 70 sacks during the regular season (15 more than the next team, who happen to be the Chiefs). 4 players on defense with 10 or more sacks.
