You had ONE job, Super Bowl crew. ONE job. Just make the endzones blue and orange and we'd all be happy. Seriously.

So you think you can do better?
Anyone that can do what pitt6pack did above can do better.

I just went back to the old template. I could go with something like on the Redskins field, but the angle in the helmet makes things dificult, and I don't have a good modern template, but I've never seen in the NFL or in college a modern helmet on any field, so I'm not sure what that would look like.
You've convinced me (and the field also), the blue is great.
i'd love to find a way to get the NFL to go to a new format for the Super Bowl, fields, logos and all. Even if it's something different and not back to the classic styles, it can be much better than now.
This looks awesome! Could we see what it would look like with the normal NFC and AFC logos?

Is anyone else having trouble with IE as far as quoting and cut/paste? I can't do either on IE. I've tried it on Google Chrome and it works fine.

Oops! Was not aware of that. Thanks for moving this.
Seems like Boise State is the popular decision for the Pac-12. Besides, BYU has a history in the MWC.
I'll be releasing a full chart later today.
EDIT: Forgot to add this, Charlotte will not be in my FBS. I was not in favor of their promotion.

Hey guys. I've been working on a realignment of the FBS, but I've got a few dilemmas here as far as where to put the teams. I had a few goals here: To put (most) teams back in their original conferences before the realignment wave hit, to bring back old rivalries, and to keep conference sizes reasonable. So my idea was to reduce the conferences to ten, put 12 in six conferences and 14 in four. Here are the problems I have:
- Should I put Texas A&M and Missouri back in the Big 12 or should I keep them in the SEC? Right now I'm leaning toward the latter for two reasons. One is I'm moving Nebraska and Colorado back to the Big 12 for sure so the Big 12 would have 14 teams and the SEC 12. I don't think there are any other teams that can compete in the SEC so I can't increase the SEC to 14, and I think the SEC is better suited to have 14 teams than the Big 12. Second is, both schools compete evenly with the rest of the competition. A new policy that I'm establishing to go along with this is that non-conference rivalries are to be re-established, so we could have Texas-Texas A&M once again.
- Which should I put in the Pac-12, BYU or Boise State? I know both could compete in the conference. The Pac-12 is staying at twelve teams. Also, the one I don't pick is going the MWC.
Please leave feedback!
(Note to mods: If needed, please move this somewhere else. The concepts just seemed like the best place to put it.)

I'm trying to 'mark as read' my notifications, but I get this:
Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available. What the hell? I've been able to do this before, and the dynamic notification bubble never, ever, ever works.
Thank you for bringing this up, as I'm experiencing the same problems.
Same thing is happening to me. I eventually just cleaned out my nine pages or so of notifications.

One year? Already? Man, I still remember when this was started like it was yesterday!

How on earth did you do this??????

I think if the Rams didn't use monochrome and got rid of the side panels, they'd have one of the better looks in the league. Don't get me wrong, the Greatest Show on Turf uniforms were the best ever, but these aren't actually that bad.
It seems when they play the Broncos, they always bring out the great looks.
-
Colts/Seahawks, two teams I don't want to ever see in the SB again.
-
That field is one of my Super Bowl Favorites. I love the three blues going against each other on top of the yellow.
-
It looks like you're doing field colors now.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the NFC (and originally, the NFL) is the home team in all odd-numbered Super Bowls.
Which means the AFC will be the home team in SB 50. My question is: how does the NFL decide which end zone to color for which team? I can't see a pattern (e.g., home team always gets left end zone) that holds for all Super Bowls.
Just curious if there is a rule.
It used to be whichever color looks best. Now it's just whatever gets the job done fastest.

I'd agree. Look at the Panther's blue. The lighting doesn't seem that different between the two sidelines.
