UCF is bringing back their throwback pinstripes from their new coaches time as a player.

Florida Gators have updated their White Scripts, Blue and Orange jerseys as well as using a new block font instead of the custom font used by the rest of athletics. Also appears that they will be wearing Nike's MLB template.

The UCF pinstripe uni, reminds me soooooo much of Missouri State Bears alternate home uniform!

Figured I could rapid fire the first two teams, since they were the only FCS teams to get a mention in the original series:

Thanks to three generations of family connections, NDSU was the only other FCS team that got a redesign in the first go round, but it really wasn't a redesign at all, given that I just added a set of white pants to football and made some minor modifications here and there to the other sports. This time I really did try and go for something different, even if it wasn't fully a new idea.

Football - I'm sure there's a big contingent of people out there that are loving that NDSU isn't winning the championship every year right now, but now you have to deal with the other Dakota State team doing it. As for the uniforms, I liked the addition of stripes around 2015/2016 and getting away from the Wentz era panel look, but I wanted something that was a little more interwoven to the history of NDSU football and connecting back to the D2 championships as well. So, the triple stripe fades into the past and a newer stripe emerges. the D2 Bison wore uniforms that closely resembled the Lombardi Packers' uniforms so I tweaked the stripes a little to resemble those but not be direct clones. The helmet and pant stripes mirror each other. The Harvest Bowl helmets stick around, having proven to be a huge hit since they were introduced.

Hockey - Not the first Dakota school you think of when you mention hockey, but for a club program, they don't do too bad for themselves. The uniforms however, took a step backwards since the first go round. They're currently sporting black uniforms (with team colors at least) and grey and black uniforms. So that stops now, with the new stripe taking root on the sleeves and the hem. Went with the primary logo on the home and away uniforms as opposed to the charging bison. Since the other sports don't participate (at least to my understanding) in the Harvest Bowl, the alternates utilize the design from the green football helmet and use the wheat spike in the stripe on the sleeves and pairing down the stripe to a simpler northwestern style.

Baseball - Nothing wild for the baseball Bison. Simplified the stripe down to a northwestern on the sleeves with some placket piping. Alternate keeps up the Harvest style, with the wheat stripe taking up some real estate on the sleeves. Yellow/green and green/yellow form the headgear rotation, with a similar story for the socks. I did briefly consider making the alternate all green, but it felt like a lot.

Basketball - To the hardwood, we get away from the chevron catalog pattern to something that has a little bit of a retro feel. NW stripes around the arm/neck holes, full stripe down the sides of the jersey and shorts, finishing with the NW stripe at the bottom of the shorts. The alternates continue the Harvest look, and because I like to do weird things on basketball jerseys, the Charging Bison on the chest, number off center underneath it. (Logos can go on the chest of basketball jerseys and I'm sick of pretending they can't).

Holdovers are out of the way, we can get into some new faces!
