Have you ever dreamed of becoming a hockey superstar? Wanted to lead the league in goals and set records that nobody could ever break? Or maybe you want to be a role-player, an unsung hero leading his team to glory with heart and soul. Maybe you want to become the next brick wall between the pipes, and out-perform greats like Patrick Roy. Very few people get the chance to do this in the NHL, but now you have a chance to simulate it.

The Simulation Hockey League is a player sim league using the SimonT Hockey Simulator. The SHL is running strong, and has been for a long time. In fact, we are entering our thirteenth season, where eleven other teams will try to dethrone the Minnesota Chiefs, who have recently won their second Challenge Cup in team history.

But it doesn't begin there. Before you can etch your name in history forever in the SHL, you will become one of the hottest prospects in hockey in the North West Junior Hockey League, the premier junior league in the world, where you will hone your skills as a member of one of six junior teams, each of whom have a great set of staff to guide you on your journey to SHL greatness.

We are currently in the off-season, but Season 13 of the SHL is in fast approaching. We need a lot of recruits to begin so come join to becoming the next SHL Legend.

The SHL is the best online player simulation league but we are more than just that. There’s so much to do in the SHL, you can go down to the media section and reading very interesting articles about other player or you can even write about your own player. Head Down to the SHL Today section to catch up with the season stats, watch other users put on live games for you using the pbp feature or write your own pbp to earn yourself some money. For those of you who’d don’t like writing very much and who don’t need the best player, the SHL can accommodate you too, it is very easy to build a solid player without much effort for maximum enjoyment in minimum amounts of time. The SHL community has grown over the years and we now see on average 150 members daily. You can head over to the General Discussion area to get to know some of these members and make some new friends, once in the General Discussion area, head down to the NHL team forums to support your favorite NHL team, go to the Official forums to talk about stuff like NFL, MLB, Cars, Music, etc. or for check out the latest tournaments in the Tournament section. My favorite part of general discussion though has to be the SHL Arcade, choose from a variety of different arcade games that you can play right on your computer screen and try and beat the SHL record to earn some bragging rights. Come join the SHL Community today and maybe just maybe you can be the next best player to ever lace them up in the one of the biggest online player simulation league.
