Major League Lacrosse 2014: Hamilton Out, Florida In

Major League Lacrosse has announced that the Hamilton Nationals will not compete in the league's 2014 season.

"The Nationals organization and Owner Curt Styres thank our loyal fans, the community and our partners for supporting us for the past five seasons," said Hamilton General Manager Stu Brown.

The league will maintain an eight-team membership in 2014 with the establishment of the Florida Launch, a franchise based in Palm Beach County. The Hamilton Nationals' 23-man roster will form the foundation of the Launch.

Given that the MLL All-Star Game was played at Florida Atlantic University Stadium in Boca Raton, I'd presume that's where the Florida Launch will be setting-up shop.
