This logo, along with Dane Storrusten's Sea Lion logo were used as references. I traced the face from this one a long time ago, I realize now I should have changed it a bit more, and should have credited @McElroy19. That one's on me. Sorry, I promise to not do this in the future.

That’s the second logo (Sparky’s Kraken being the first) that you blatantly traced, without giving credit.

That sea lion looks very familiar but I can’t find what I’m relating it to. Did you base it off another concept or use some type of inspiration? I’ll search for it a little more, if it’s not on these boards I spent a lot of time on icethetics when I was younger so maybe there. Either way, if I recall correctly, this logo from what I’m thinking of and looks great for a team in the Bay Area. The unique name also gives it some extra points. I’d happily accept this team with open arms.

I knew I recognized it too. It’s from this Seattle Sea Lions concept by Matthew McElroy.

Sorry for the long delay! I hit a roadblock in terms of inspiration but finally scraped together a solid concept. Introducing the Ottawa Grey Jays.

Named for the national bird of Canada, the small and subtle -yet fierce- Grey Jay. I'm not completely happy with the logo, but I tried my best to make this unfearsome bird a bit more threatening, whist still retaining its subtle nature.

Uniform stripes are supposed to evoke flight and movement, without going to over-the-top. Alternate is a throwback to the original version of the team, the Montréal Mustangs.

Made in Affinity Designer, C&C appreciated.

Not really feeling this. It doesn’t reflect the city of Ottawa at all. None of our sports teams are grey (most teams in this city are red and black.)

Also, the Canada Goose is the national bird.

    Liverpool FC
Liverpool Football Club is one of the most important and winning clubs in the history of english football. It was founded on 13 April 1894 in a pub in the city center by some dissident members of the first club in the city, Anfield FC. Liverpool has won almost everything throughout its history, both nationally and internationally. Liverpool FC is a team known everywhere with fans and supporters around the world. He won the Premier Division for 17 times and above all taking part in all the editions since the club was born. Liverpool FC are the current defending Premier Division champion with an incredible record of 108 points. The fans are among the hottest in the whole of the United Kingdom, and probably in the world, famous above all for their passion and indissoluble loyalty. Obviously the one against Anfield FC is the most felt game by Liverpool. It is one of the hottest derbies and is called "Merseyside Derby". For seasons however it does not occur because Anfield FC has been relegated to the second division.

The Liverpool FC crest represents the symbol of the city, the Liverbird. Throughout its history it has undergone several changes, up until the solution adopted in 2001. A circular emblem with the color of the team. On the inside the Liverbird enclosed by two writings, the name above and the motto of the club below. The motto is in Latin and say "Victoria Concordia Crescit", over the years there have been a number of variations of the translation but all are roughly the same: “Victory Grows Through Harmony.”

Liverpool players are called "Skyblues" by the color of their uniforms, but this was not always the color of the Liverpool club. The first uniform in fact was black with a red horizontal band, the current blue shirt made its first appearance in 1903. Since then the same pattern has always been used. Skyblues shirt and socks with white shorts. Adidas has been supplying the technical material since 2012 while the airline Fly Emirates sponsors the club since 2009.

Curious why you used Arsenal’s motto for Liverpool? 🤨

The Oklahoma flag is disqualified for its prominent use of text.  If text is going to appear on a flag, then it should be small and tasteful, as on the flag of New York City's borough of Queens (seen in my sig):

...not big and gaudy, as seen in that Oklahoma flag and in the flag of New York City's worst borough:

Also, the U.S. flag is a mess from a design standpoint.  Placing it next to a superbly-designed flag such as Canada's only underscores how horrid it is.

The Union Jack is not much better.  It gets points for clever combining of multiple symbols: the St. George's cross for England, the St. Andrew's cross for Scotland, the St. Patrick's cross for Ireland (now representing Northern Ireland).  But the finished product is visually jarring when considered dispassionately.  We're just used to it (which is also why we tend not to notice the awkwardness of the U.S. flag).

On top of this, the Union Jack is hard to draw correctly.  One often sees depictions with the St. Patrick's cross (the red X) centred in the St. Andrew's cross (the white X) rather than offset in a counterclockwise (or, as the Brits themselves would say, "anticlockwise") direction, sort of like this:

The British flag is only known as the Union Jack if it's flying on a ship. Otherwise, it's just known as the Union flag, or flag of the British Commonwealth.
