  1. Cardiff City recently unveiled their new kit for the next season, their first in the Premier League. Not only did the new-ish owners recently (last year) change their home colours from Blue to Red, but this years features two different shades of Red. The fans protested and they have no opened it up to a vote between season ticket holders as to which kit they will wear. Option 1 was the protested kit.

The unpopular opinion... I actually prefer the protested option 1 to anything else.

  2. Steven Gerrard

    The story behind this:

Liverpool's city rivals Everton had won the league title and community shield that year and a relative (possibly an Aunt) of Gerrard's took him to get his photograph taken with the trophys. He is now well known for having spent his entire career at Liverpool (since age 7) winning a number of trophys, but importantly never the league title. Which makes this image even more interesting. It is commonly used by Everton fans as 'want to see Steven Gerrard with the league title?".

  3. Actually, the entire site is messed up on my IE 8 machine. The search bar is in the middle of the main banner, the reply buttons are in the wrong place, and there are many other alignment issues. It could be my browser since it's work controlled and they could have put some update on that messses things up, but again, I'm not seeing this with any other site.

Fonts/Font size appears different to me too.

    Lefty is a Righty?!?

As a matter of fact, yes. He's a righty whom golfs left.

I'm actually surprised that so many people golf righty, because left is the dominant hockey shot.

For the longest time, they didn't make left handed golf clubs, or so I've been told.

He plays left handed because when he was younger he mirrored his Dad's (right-handed) stance. Can't actually confirm that with a reliable source, but I remember learning that when the British Golf Open was at Hoylake a few miles from my house. Thought it was an interesting fact.
