The problem with Brantford is that it's already surrounded by OHL teams; it's in close proximity to the Storm, Ice Dogs, Rangers, Generals, Knights, Steelheads and especially the Bulldogs. I dunno if there's even room in that area for another franchise to try and root itself.
The entire reason the Bulldogs are going to Brampton while FirstOntario is being renovated to begin with is that it's only half an hour from Hamilton.
Brantford already has a Jr A and Jr B team owned by the same guy who owns the Niagara IceDogs, Darren Dobbelaer. I am surprised he didn't try and block the Bulldogs from this move as I have heard rumours he's talked about moving his team to Brantford
Will be interesting to see the fan support of the Bulldogs. Despite Brantford arguably being a hockey town, the Bandits average 73 fans per game during the regular season

So, I've been wondering for the longest time about the CCM Quicklite template that every minor league team uses.
Is it just a Reebok Edge template with a new collar, or is the jersey stitching from the Quicklite different from Edge and Adizero? Is there a difference between Edge, Adizero, and Quicklite at all aside from the collar designs?
I'm just wondering.
For the most part it's a different construction & lighter material. Front and back jersey panels are all one piece between the shoulders & arms, instead of having the underarm panels. League & CCM logos are pressed onto the front (No longer stitched patches).

Is that an Adidas jersey made by CCM? Who would have thought going with the Adidas collar would be the better choice.
Many jersey manufacturers have copied the Adidas collar. Athletic Knit, CCM, many others. Same trend when the Reebok Edge template was introduced.

Ayr Centennials of the Provincial Junior C Hockey league purchased the Kitchener Dutchmen of the Greater Ontario Junior B Hockey League and moves them to Ayr, thus moving from Jr C to Jr B. The Cens won back to back Jr C championships a couple years ago and are now the smallest market in the GOJHL, with approximately 4,000 residents.

And our final Canadian team...
LONDON WOLVES
There is no purple in the CFL, so we needed to add some, right? Welcome the London Wolves. Indigenous animal to the Great White North, plus a nice vague reference to London (UK) and a team that can really pull off purple and silver. Inspiration came from multiple wolf-head logos, as well as some of what UConn did with their husky logo.
As for the uniforms, we went with a scratch pattern as the dominant theme, paired with the angular font of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Tomorrow: We introduce the first of our USA expansion teams. We will do like we did with the original 9 CFL teams and start in the Pacific Northwest, then head east for all 4 franchises.
As a Londoner, I could get behind this. Past London franchises have been called the Lords, Silvberbacks & Thunder, current franchise in the CJFL is the Beefeaters, so Wolves would be a welcome sight

I will agree with you, it is like comparing apples to oranges. I'll go one level higher than Jr B. The Jr A 99ers (The direct affiliate of the IceDogs) averages 91 fans per game. I know the OHL has more buying power in terms of fan attractiveness, but on paper Brantford seems like a tough drawing market for hockey
