They’ll probably get a waiver like the jags did when khan took over, especially if they change the name again.
They're just coming up with it behind the scenes. We'll see the classic uniform again.

Yeah it's brutal. Why did they go with white socks. UGH.

I’m not sure what’s in the water around here lately, but until very recently, the Cowboys have been widely considered one of the most classic uniforms in league, being mentioned alongside the Packers, Raiders, Steelers, Chiefs, etc.Hive mind contrarianism.
Classic, yes. Divisive, very.

There's "classic" and then there's "old". I've always felt this fits into the latter category. It's also not great to use a fixed-color logo as a badge for cars of all different colors (not that they make more than one car anymore, but the point still stands.)
The script by itself would be a better badge, or maybe there should be a vehicle badge that's separate from the "corporate logo". I know that's a very unpopular opinion, but it's mine.
They've been using the script by itself in commercials for several years now. I don't see why they can't go all in.

I'm sure the answer is something to do with taxes, but what is the point of this? The Heat's owner is the chairman of Carnival, so he's just writing himself a check?
Cheap plug I guess.

Nice. And a good example of how single-color, stripe-less socks aren’t always bad; 49ers look as good as they ever have here.
As I said before, on the white helmet teams it works. On them only.

RE: Texans uniforms
Navy isn't the problem ("because it's dull"). Plenty of teams with Navy as the feature color have iconic identities. It's all about the execution. While the uniform offers nothing remotely iconic or cohesive, it's truly the helmet that's at fault.
White helmet, using a brighter Red in the proper way as an accent color, and adding some sort of character to the uniform (adding a few well-placed stars) will transform the Texans' look from one of the most boring in professional sports to one of the best.
This isn't mine, but it's good, and what the team should be going for, rather than wishing they were the Oilers or incorporating street culture:
The Texans have to compete with another franchise up the road that likes to call themselves, "America's Team", yet they have the identity that warrants that nickname, and they should try to take it.The problem that Texans's fans have with the identity is its not Houston exclusive. Which is one of the reasons the Oilers identity is a touchy due to the fact that it was.
It would have been okay had the team been founded in the 1950's but not in the Turn of the Millennium. And we made the same "Pats South" jokes that everyone else has. Going to a red primary as I wanted for years (regardless of helmet) would be a small step in the right direction.

It would look fine if they still wore the striped socks from when this set was new.
No, please. No white striped socks below white pants. Even blank white socks are better.

I believe the reason white socks are so preferred now is because they aren't actual socks, they are actually just compression leggings which have notoriously become a big deal in Basketball for the last 10 years. It's a performance thing and a "cool factor" too.
It's not cloth socks anymore most of the time, when you see all white or the "leotard look" it's compression leggings. That's why it's blowing up and all over the league. I don't know what the NFL's sock rule even is because since it's not a sock, wouldn't that be a violation? I don't even know.
The NFL has one of two things they should do, they can mandate cloth socks and ban compression leggings OR teams can start making colored compression leggings that way everybody is happy. If you ask me the latter is the best option.
Can't they just sublimate stripes onto the leggings? Just get a vector file (and it has to be vector, if a raster file's resolution's not large enough, it'll look like crap) of the stripes and print it.

One the white set, I would even be okay if they went all white if the white socks had horizontal stripes at the top. I think that would look killer.
I disagree. White-striped socks and white pants look terrible.

Today’s game between Ottawa and Montreal is quite interesting. Ottawa is wearing white at home and Montreal is wearing their red alternate uniform on the road. I like the red jersey for the Alouettes but I don’t understand why they wouldn’t wear the navy or white pants instead of monochrome red.
At least their both wearing contrasting socks.

Most classic example is the Saints pretending to be a gold pants team year after year.
Saints just need to switch to their throwback colors and have stripes on all pants if they insist white and black pants combos.

"Surely"? I've been to a Walmart three times, each time to buy a CD that was released exclusively through that store. So I have not heard of this brand.
The new font is striking. And if this soda comes only in cream flavour, then the removing of the red and the leaves is a good move. Those elements didn't go well with the colour of the can.
It comes in multiple flavors. And it's good. They've been slowly been increasing shelf space.

Reporting in from Houston, Texans on the road in navy/white/navy/navy vs. Pats in silver/navy/navy/navy
navy.
EDIT: My mom hates this uniform matchup and the Texans and Pats similar color schemes.

I say option 1 in purple. Option 2 on white.

What time is the Broncos helmet unveiling today?
Odds that they also unveil a White version of their Color Rush uniform to achieve a better look?
I know it would be “icy”….but at least as far Denver goes, they have the “Cold as the Rockies” stuff to lean into.
I wouldn't mind them wearing monowhite with a white helmet.

Can the Texans be brighter blue and red?

But that would make too much sense.
They've been hinting at it with a red primary next year. And those H-Town shirt. And the black one with the modified colors.

I actually liked this one and have a shirt of it. Even though it represents one of the biggest failures in wrestling, it's still appealing.
