    What yellow Saturday alternates?

the home day-game cream alts look…a little soured this season

Red  pinstripes are for home night games, powder blue throwbacks for home Thursdays, CC’s for home Fridays, cream alts for home day games, and road grays

  2. Not to jump backwards into two weeks ago, but did anyone else catch the Phillies Spring Breakout prospect team in the red alt jerseys?  A lot of these players weren't around last year, and those that were wouldn't have worn their usual (lower) numbers....so did Nike break their own rule just for a one-off game?

I just wish it had a blue bill & squatchee, which the one bell hat did but had the Phillies wordmark in the bell and looked dumb, they were so close.

I'll just continue to wear this. (I would love this just without the piping and blue bill & squatchee)

Any Phils cap without a contrasting squatchee is a no-go for me

The Mothership with an exclusive look at the MLB Spring Traing hats.

Exclusive: New MLB 2024 Spring Training Caps by New Era Released

Article says that these are spring specific only and "we will see an entirely separate collection of new regular season B.P. cap designs for the 2024 season in the coming weeks"

I wonder if this means the every-other-year release of ST caps is going by the wayside and the yearly ones will be the way of the future.

….hopefully the BP caps have a little longer shelf life

Weird. Against the closest current look in the league to their throwback, color-wise. Unless the Jets also go throwback that day, in which case it’s the closest throwback to the Eagles’ throwback. But let’s be honest - the Jets will almost certainly go white-black-black.

I agree- if it’s true, debuting such a long-awaited look a week early against a team that has virtually the same color scheme as the one you’re (re)debuting kinda takes some of shine off the occasion…not to mention a road debut

The Phillies are in cream today

Perhaps they're pulling a Braves and the city connect with be power/maroon?

That could be. They’re only “scheduled” to wear the powder blue throwbacks 8 times this season…unless they switch to wearing them on home Wednesdays instead of home Thursdays

I don't get it - I swear I read before the season that they were dropping the reds.

Ain't no way they're dropping either of the other two, so I guess they're keeping all 5 and telling Nike to suck it.

The cream jersey has been a staple since '08, and they sell a ton of blue caps.  The powders are obviously popular . The red serves absolutely no purpose - they don't sell any, and it doesn't serve to add another hat to sell lie the cream does.

I don’t remember where I read it…Todd Zolecki’s newsletter, maybe? but the Phillies are keeping the same uni lineup as 2022, and then making the 4+1 change in 2024 once the City Connect is actually worn on-field.

Personally, I think their road grays are gonna be the odd one out. With every jersey having the same script, why not ditch the only uni that’s completely unremarkable…plus, it was Harper’s idea to wear the red alts on getaway day, and he seems to get what he asks for pretty consistently
