One other thing I've noticed is that the Cardinals are also wearing new practice jerseys - White with Black numbers for the offense, Gray with Black numbers for the defense, and Black with White numbers for QBs. No Red.
They actually wore these for the week of the Color Rush game last season as well.
I think those are just t-shirts- 1

First look at a new Cardinal helmet in natural lighting. Looks the same.

Here's a tweet about it. It was kicked around the board for a little bit.
That’s just the current uniform. You can see a little bit of the underarm white on the right side. All of the black piping is just obscured by the shadows.- 1

Just walked over to the Van Buren in Phoenix, nothing over there yet. I bet the Cardinals are making this all up.

So possibly using this 3D/fading style decal on a white helmet with red metallic flakes with a white/metallic/chrome face mask

Helmets aren't correct at all...colors are close.
I’ve heard the bird remains the same on the white helmet. Red metallic flakes on the helmet similar to the black one. A chrome/silver face mask. Also, I think the striping on the shoulders makes sense if they are trying to mimic the sun rays on the state flag.

Maybe what's been called maroon and orange is actually maroon and copper, which always seems to be portrayed as burnt orange in fabrics.
Of course! That makes a lot more sense.- 4

The new Cardinals unis are going to be way more "outside the box" than the Commanders...

The Suns will have new main uniforms for next season (purple & white), and a new city edition uniform replacing the current turquoise uniform. The classic purple sunburst is to be worn for only this season and is not scheduled to be back. The alternate black PHX uniform will return for next season.

Coming from the midwest to Phoenix, the Cardinals brand doesn't seem that stron when compared to how other states treat their teams. growing up I saw Vikings stuff everywhere, even when I visited family in SD. Like the NFL and supporting some midwestern team (Packers, Chiefs, Bears) is just the default. Down here, no one cares about the Cardinals really. It's mostly apathy or just not caring about football at all. it's so diffeentirely. the cards can def afford toswitch it up. Almost no one down here will care, it might even draw more interest and make it feel more "authentically" Arizonan instead of the basic brand they have now that could be in any city. also, please fix thetyping on mobile,I feel like my flphone is having a seizure
locals and fans of the team disagree with these transplant takes.- 1

If Nike gets the contact thats not necessarily a bad thing. Nike has their own baseball jersey template that’s used all over college ball but MLB jerseys are still the same Majestic manufactured product. And, college football has a multitude of Nike football jersey templates but the NFL by and large uses mostly 1 subdued template for all teams. A Nike NHL agreement could see something very similar.

Yeah transplants are gonna be transplants.
As a native Arizonan that has several native Arizona friends I would say my experiences and interactions are very much the opposite of the anecdotes shared so far.
The Phoenix area is young generationally, as is the sports fandom. Fair weather fandom is growing pains for young markets/fan bases.

Updated Coyotes logo on the back Kachina sweater. New one is on the left. They have added the tan outline on the inside of the left coyote leg and tan outline around tail and inside of the right arm. Corrected the right skate color, added/corrected the upper purple stripe on the left arm, and added the green tip on the top feather.

Very cool! Apparently this jersey or something very similar was close to existing. A quote from the original designer of the sunburst look:“I have sketches of an orange version of the jersey but the NBA freaked out. They thought fans would need sunglasses indoors! The orange jersey and a streaking Suns ball had a black eclipse type back shadow behind it and we literally were going to call the jersey the Eclipse.
The Suns already had white, purple and black alternates and the NBA wanted to limit the amount of options teams had to reduce operations nightmares and trainers’ confusion at the time since we were changing so many team identities. That’s why they didn’t do them.”
Here is the rest of the interview and article about the history of the sunburst uniforms.

He is right that the 9's used in the Cardinals' Tweet are a different font than what is used on the Cardinals uniforms.
But, the Cardinals social media team has been using the incorrect font for these types of posts for the last couple of years, so it's no evidence of new uniforms.
Interestingly enough, they did not give JJ a jersey to hold up at the press conference yesterday, so maybe that is evidence of new unis coming! But probably the real reason for that was him finding out earlier that day that he would get to use #99 which was previously retired by the Cardinals.
