  1. Why can't Tennessee ever find a light blue colour for their blue pants that matches the blue of their jersey? Vikings are going to be yellow for sure (primarily)
  2. Perhaps, but can you give me an example of how they have done this in the past? I honestly think it is due to underwhelming viewership on Thursdays, and that alone. I think it is a short term project to get people to watch on Thursdays. Much like the Pro Bowl uniforms. Hi, Bort. My son is also named Bort. No, these have nothing to do with boosting viewership. These are about Nike marketing Nike and the league taking extra cash to allow for such blatant whoring. That's why they didn't wear white or blue pants, like people suggested. All red vs. all green. There were probably millions of tweets last night about how awful the game looked, and nearly as many dopes saying the jerseys were "ill" or some equivalent there of. There were hundreds of articles written about the game mentioning the shoulder-to-toe colors are part of the leagues "Nike Color Rush program." That's why it was done. Nike doesn't care that the game looked liked festering anus. They cared that people are talking about Nike products so much. I'm sorry, were you talking to me? Or another Bort? I agree with most of what you say outside of it being all about Nike cash grabbing. Not that I don't think Nike wants to cash grub, but I think the NFL is fully complicit in anything uniform wise. The NFL wants more attention on Thursdays. It isn't an accident the draft is Thursday and "colour rush" is Thursday. There is a strategy here.

I don't see how "underwhelming viewership" is countered by televising games on a non-ubiquitous cable channel. It isn't. But, as someone who does watch the NFL a lot on Sunday, and almost never on Thursdays, I sought out this game. I also stayed on the game far longer than I normally would have. I also don't really give two spits about either team.

  5. Every novelty jersey doesn't need to be a throwback though.
  6. I love the jerseys. I think this is the first time I have ever felt that Nike has done something right, however, the full-on monochrome is a disaster. I generally agree that any monochrome is a disaster but I am not even bothered by these. These are one off gimmicky uniforms just to be obnoxious. They are trying to get people's attention that games on Thursday are worth checking out.Flipping by, the uniforms grab your attention. You're right, they do, though most of us would argue that that is for all the wrong reasons unfortunately. I would say at half of that is because we look through the lens of full time change. Everything about Thursday Night Football is junk food.

  8. It's late, so perhaps I'm reading the OP wrong, but the "A" is already a mountain, is it not,? I'd agree you are making it more "mountain-y" I also think it is less an A. I also prefer the more graceful, yet likely less realistic, snow path on the existing logo which helps form the A. It also portrays a controlled powerful force of nature, in possession of the puck, by intent in design. As opposed to just sort of dumping a huge uncontrolled load of snow off the side of the mountain that happens to contain a puck. The existing logo illustrates the avalanche, and the power of the avalanche, as an intelligent entity. Yours is more of just a mindless natural disaster. I've seen complaints about the Avalanche logo, I don't really get it. Unless you are changing the name of the team, I think it is a good logo.
  9. I like the OP green and white version on the shirt. However, I'd like it more without what I feel is an unnecessary and awkward separation of the B. I'd rather not have to be smacked in the face to be shown it's a B.
  10. I like the Chargers logo itself, as well as embracing the lighter blue as the primary. Not sure how well two AFC West teams with horse logos goes over in real life.
  11. Can't say I like this concept. Although I like the idea of isolating the Raven eye in the primary as an alt, so what do I know?
  12. I like Buffalo's minus the logo. I also dislike jerseys and pants that are the same colour in general. Too unitardy for my tastes.
  13. Agreed, nice work. Better than any Cowboys uniforms I've seen.
  14. I think the Jacksonville Dolphins one is pretty solid.
