Went to the Atlanta Gladiators game on Friday, and something really annoys me with their white look. The sleeve stripes have no navy on them, while the socks stripes do. I think it looks way better on the socks because the light blue, yellow, and white don't have enough contrast. Not sure why they don't change this.

A lot of AHL/ECHL teams just use their parent clubs pants and helmets. Lazy if you ask me.

    Los Angeles (Anaheim) Angels

Underrated set IMO, there's basically just two issues I see with them. 1) Too much red, and 2) Not enough variety. Every set (other than their excellent City Connect jerseys) use the exact same pattern. I also like the idea of them rebranding as the "Anaheim Angels", as realistically the Dodgers rule LA, and Anaheim is a pretty decent sized city in its own right. It's also over 25 miles away, which is borderline not even a suburb of LA. But I digress...

For my set, the home uniforms stay mostly as is. Jersey and pants stripes are dropped, as I love the look of these in clean white. Road uniforms use an "Anaheim" wordmark instead of "Angels", and all numbers and names are outlined in white to create some contrast against the grey background. Red alternate jerseys use a bright sand colored script, which is also utilized in the pants + hats. Finally, a second alternate navy blue alternate uniform is introduced.  80's and 90's throwback jerseys from their time as the California Angels round out this set.

The  numbers on the 70s alt are wrong, they should be McAuliffe

Not sure if anybody’s posted about it yet, but the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) have been sporting inaugural season patches between their shoulder patches and numbers on both arms.

Also seen here is they changed the outline on their numbers mid-season from orange to white.

This is proof to me that white/off-white jerseys with darker colored pants can work:

Main reason why this works is because they're wearing contrasting socks (that match the jersey). The Rangers uniform is gonna be worn with baggy pants or cheap looking navy socks

Reminds me of the mask that Teiji Honma wore for Japan at the 1936 Olympics.  I can't tell from the pictures I've seen if he's wearing round-framed glasses under the mask or if that's part of the mask itself.

    Rams Week 4

I updated the size of the "RAMS" wordmark and the NFC logo to better match the actual field.

I expect the Rams to go with this field for the rest of the season, except for maybe Week 11, as they will be in color rush uniforms.

I also think in later games they will paint in the center part of the facemask. Looks like they just forgot to paint the inner part, or just didn't have time before the game, but they have the outline.

I don’t know if you saw it or not, but they missed a little paint on the facemask of the helmet

1996 - "Shield" Ravens take on the block-number Steelers. This was the only time these two particular uniforms matched up, as the other time they played Steelers were in black and Ravens were in white (I can't find pictures of that game). The Steelers changed to the italic numbers in 1997 and the Ravens changed to their current look in 1999.

  8. I have a question, so I looked up to see which baseball players have ever had an infinite era in one game and I noticed that there era was a regular number. But wouldn't their lifetime era be infinite?

    *their

An infinite ERA isn't really infinite; it's undefined (can't divide by zero). If somebody has an infinite ERA in one game and makes another appearance where they record an out, the math fixes itself.
Oh I just did some tests and you're right. Thanks, That always confused me
