I don't think the Broncos have ever had a good logo.
Love those Orange Crush unis though. I like the idea of a team "owning" side panels, but their current panels are rather awkward looking.
-
The league screws up the entire alignment for them, and yet Red Wing fans will still whine and complain that the league is against them.

Nothing says loyal like attendance south of 14 thousand with astronomically cheap ticket prices. Bettman needs to stop the lies and use the term "we" when talking about Coyotes fans, because only that explains his love affair with this team while letting Atlanta leave the moment they felt like it.
-
Yay, more financial leaching from the Coyotes! Who needs schools and hospitals anyways?
-
It does except for the logo, but that's the only thing that was going to be new about those uniforms. That was a concept I did all the way back in 2011. Here's the link: http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/82402-sfgiants58s-concepts/?p=1675256
In reality, the "One Day" uniforms would have looked like this:
Does anyone else think that looks really sharp?

IMO the Phillies, if they're going to stick with their red look, just need to make the stars on their Whiz Kid era uniforms blue and be done with it. If they did that they might have a top 10 MLB look.
Apparently you are a mistake, because it's the exact same color. Do you really expect Majestic to have two different royal blue pinstripe shades?
The shade is too bright. I think it makes the uniform look cheap. If I'm not mistake, the mets have a darker shade. By blue, I mean blue. Not navy.
not to mention, taking blue pinstripe to be any shade of the colour blue, the yankees as well.
Care to explain how blue pinstripes look amateurish? You must think the Mets home looks amateurish too, right?I'm starting to dislike the entire Cubs identity. The home jersey looks really amateur with the blue pinstripes and the whole Cubs in the circle looks... Boring. The vest they wore as a throwback a couple of years ago looks way better IMO. I absolutely hate the road jersey. From the font to the color of the number being different than the script. It just looks bad. I always thought the road jersey with the red line under it was their best look. The alt road speaks for itself. The blue jersey is probably the best of the set.

The Stars have won of the bottom 5 NHL logos, there's nothing cool or clever or classy about it whatsoever.

That does not exist and never, ever will. I'm aware fans will still by the crap, but that's because most fans are stupid with their alligeance and will eat up any s*** the team throws at them.
No. What I am saying is we have a template for how to make uniforms work with ads, be unique and still display the team logo. Do you think EPL fans are pissing and moaning like "Wow I'd love to buy this Man U logo if it wasn't for this dang corporate logo on the front. I guess I won't buy it!"
So roundels somehow make ads okay? I must say I do not understand that logic whatsoever.
Since NBA teams are moving toward roundel usage anyways I think either something like MLS/Premier League do with their uniforms wouldn't be the worst thing on Earth.
How the **** can it be done properly? Don't give me the crap that a little patch wouldn't be too bad, it's still horrendously out of place and a disgusting symbol of greed.Oh three more things
-Throwback for throwback's sake is worse than BFBS
-The new Bucks rebrand top to bottom sucks
-Sleeved NBA jerseys don't bug me that much and if done properly I wouldn't mind ads on NBA jerseys.
Obviously, it's clear to see how it can be viewed as "greedy", and I'm not hoping for it in any way, but there are companies out there that desperately want to advertise in avenues that are as marketable as NBA jerseys, so you could argue that denying them that privilege for something as silly as aesthetic value is also greedy.. Like I said, I'm not for it, and I'm a huge fan of maintaining the aesthetic integrity, but this is a business we're taking about, and they're in business to make money
Also in a reasonable world, the NBA would lose money from ads because the they'd turn fans off, but obviously most sports fans these days have become drones who will blindly accept anything their team shoves at them.
And if you think the number of fans who will stop buying gear because of sponsors on the jerseys will outweigh the money a theoretical sponsor would bring to team/league I've got a bridge to sell you.
I know they'll make money off it, because fans can never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER stand up to their team's crap and tell them to **** off for once.
All I know is that I would never even consider rooting for a team that had any ad on their uniform, because no matter how "tasteful" it is you're no longer cheering for a team, you're cheering for a brand. I know this'll eventually happen in all sports, which is why I know my days as a sports fan are probably normal, because of greed.

Other than the words "win" being underscored, I could disagree more. I don't hate the idea of the wordmark, but the execution is incredibly dated.
Also it seems like people are never happy with scripts. People complaining cursive like the Phillies or Orioles are "too perfect", yet when something is hand drawn with character like the Twins people say it's ugly and dated.
-
The thing is their current Twins wordmark sucks, so trying to match it gives you a rather crappy logoThis...
...is better than this...
100% agree. I can understand the nostalgia associated with the interlocking TC, but the M is miles ahead. Much better consistency with the home "Twins" wordmark. If they made a "Minnesota" wordmark in the same style they would have had their perfect set.

It might not be an unpopular opinion around here, but being a Packers fan it will be. But, I actually like the Bears uniforms.
That's about as far from an unpopular opinion as it gets (unless you're talking about their much maligned alts)
-
I heard there's ads, so they're dead on arrival.I really like these
Yeah, USA's 1996 World Cup set has been my fav so far. While the more heritage look ('10 + '14) works for an alt/throwback (as Canada adds sometimes for a single game during a tournament), using them as primary looks uninspired.
I'm looking forward to the next World Cup, hopefully everyone's unis are worthwhile.
-
Every team should wear one home and one road uniform, that's it. Hard to have team "identities" nowadays when teams have a months worth of alternates in their closet.

Pretty much, yeah. These logos are dead on arrival just like an aborted fetus, and are about as appealing looking.
I do agree with you about the logo, however, I feel like the Clips uniforms still lack that "it" that makes them great uniforms. (The number placement is weird to me.)Excuse me?
So wait, the Clippers are ting birth control pills and/or dead fetuses into the world? Don't you mean abominations?
Troll. The Clippers new logo and red jersey = I absolutely love them. Sooooo simple and yet that simplicity is what makes them so beautiful.
If you like them, I've got plenty of junior high notebooks with designs very reminiscent of the abortions the Clippers just s:censored:hat unto the world.

The New York Islanders have the worst logo in American pro sports. If it were released nowadays, it would get Thunder-like reception.

If by beautiful you mean hediously ugly and not at all representive of the team's nickname. Because nothing says "distinctive" like using a color scheme already used by three teams (and soon to be a fourth) And the striping just being the Leafs is a straight up lie. So you hate the Canucks home uniforms because the striping is just the Devils minus the shoulder yoke?
I'm not even a huge fan of the original Sabres uniforms (the buffalo is poorly rendered and the striping color inconsistency is horrendous), but the logo still had more appeal than the goathead. Seriously, WTF is that on the bottom right side of the logo? And blue and yellow (not navy) is one of the greatest color schemes ever.
The Sabres have never truly had a good uniform, but the goathead is the worst (I honestly prefer the Buffaslug to it, at least that one had some appeal and a better color scheme).
I've read you praise these uniforms multiply times, and it honestly feels like you just hate the original logo (and obviously the slug), so you just latch onto the goathead because you feel like you have to like at least one Sabres look. That's just my two cents, maybe you really like that hideous crap.
