I agree with the paint on the 50.  But, would the paint on the 20's be to close to the paint/SB logos at the 25??  Meaning, the paint on the outside of the 20 would be butted right up against the SB logo.

 

That would be better to paint the team colors on the 25's and still paint the 50 like usual

I REALLY wish the paint crew would paint the team colors on the 20's, and paint the red & blue stripes on the 50 yard line, there's enough paint left for the paint crew to do that, despite the fact that they still have to give all of the logos another coat of paint before Super Bowl Sunday, hope it will get done

I'm also waiting on the wall banners, since they have not been put up yet.

They will give ALL of the logos another coat of paint, probably next week, the field should look even better for the game

WOW, it sure makes a big difference with the end zones painted blue for the Patriots, and red for the Falcons, the field is looking VERY GOOD, would still look better if the NFL paint crew would paint the blue and gray stripes on the 20 yard line, and the red and black stripes on the 20 yard line at the Falcons end of the field, and paint the red & blue stripes at the 50 yard line as well

I agree, the NFL is making the Super Bowl fields look SO PATHETIC, they could at least outline the numbers in the colors of the teams, and paint the team color stripes on the 20's, and the red and blue stripes on the 50 yard line as well, don't these guys get it? They NEED to outline the numbers in the colors of the teams AND paint the team color stripes on the 20's AND paint the red & blue stripes at the 50 yard line

Do you have a link to this post, I've been looking for it. I think it is disappointing though that they would have a black endzone with a white wordmark. That is the last combo I would have expected, and probably the worst. Why no red in the endzone? The uniforms are red. I'm just done with understanding the decisions that are being made.

For sure it will be a navy endzone for the Patriots. And who knows, maybe the Patriots teambox will be red, and the Falcons endzone red. Primary colors for the endzones and secondary for the teamboxes. That would be a nice change of pace.

They could paint the conference logos, they could paint the AFC logo at the bottom of the 25 yard line on the Patriots side of the 50 yard line, and on the Falcons side of the 50 yard line, they could paint the NFC logo at the top of the 25 yard line, that might look cool

It would make the field look SO much better if they painted the team color stripes on the 20's, and painted the red and blue stripes that border the 50 yard line, and paint the 2 point conversion lines in the team colors, and outline the numbers from the 10 to the 50 yard lines in the team colors, like for the Patriots end of the field, outline from the 10 to the 50 yard line, red and blue, and for the Falcons side of the 50, paint from the 10 to the 50 yard line red and black, that would look AWESOME!!!!!!
